One of the best books in the Drizzt Legend.

This book, as all of the books for Drizzt, should need little praise, for the collected works speak so well for themselves. However, the narration for this particular book was fantastic and really stood out, making the enjoyment of rereading or relistening to this book one I look forward to for many decades to come.

Not perfect, but worth it!

I was annoyed by Bevine’s volume and how his volume would rise and fall randomly. It makes sense why, but it is still jarring. And he does pronounce some words differently than I am used to, but that is just how he talks, so I can’t blame him for that.

The story is great, though it was indeed very long. There was much strategy and intrigue but not much character development. But some important plot points did actually take place, so I don’t advise skipping over this book.

I genuinely enjoyed the book, but most of the other complaints were legit. Long, tedious, and the speaker has his own unique style. BUT DON’T SKIP THIS STORY!!! It does add value to Mithril Hall and the character’s dependence of each other.

Wipeout is what I want to say here

While reading this story for some reason I kept hearing the song ‘Wipe Out’ and it fits this story! We see some many things we thought were solid and couldn’t be changed or eliminated wiped out of this story line for good!

We see Drizzt leaving Menzoberranzan with a path of destruction behind him. It’s amazing what a few people do when your people are ruled by fear! We follow Drizzt story along with those who went to Menzoberranzan to help him. There were some nice reunions here as well!

We see the battle for Mithral Hall which was talked about a lot in the previous book. During this battle we see the fall of many of our loved friends in this series! We also see some come back to us! We also meet some old enemies during the battle.

We see some of the battles between Artemis Entreri and Drizzt which based off of previous battles we know who won in the end. We will have to wait to see what the next installment in this series brings to us and where it goes from there.

This knd was kind of all over.

Still well worth the credit still classic Salvatore, I just have been in the under datk for too long and am tired of this house and that mother. but there is much more too it. the performance painted a picture as vivid as a HD TV the story was long the way i like Salvatore storys. the lady of Silver gets her hands dirty and shows she just aint another hottie.

cotton mouth v.a. great story

absolutely love the story. only downside is the v.a sounds like his mouth is full of spit or cotton balls. It is a very fuzzy and thick sound which makes most of his syllables hard to hear. additionally he has a habit of getting incredibly quiet and following that by being incredibly loud which makes listening to him while driving a pain in the butt. I wish he would have equalised the volume on the actual recording so you didn't have to adjust it while listening to it
