Eye opening learning for your health

I'll be honest, before I listened to this audiobook, I had a very minimal understanding of the Vagus Nerve. After presenting the basics of definition, locations and the overall importance of the nerves, the author explains just how tied into our everyday life and health these two relatively unknown nerves can be.

I loved the idea that so many exercises were presented. With everyone's different ages, health and physical fitness levels, there has to be some of the exercises just about everyone can do. I picked out a few to my myself and will incorporate them into my daily routine. I am looking forward to a healthy improvement as I place more emphasis on the Vagus Nerve and my body maintenance.

The best feeling!

I have suffered with anxiety and depression for years and always got myself into states where I wasn't able to control my anxiety and was heavily medicated for it as a result. I have wanted to reduce my medication and saw this audiobook that looked at vagus nerve exercises and breathing, something I have wanted to try for a long time but have been to anxious (funnily enough!) to try it. I took the plunge and tried all of the amazing exercises and it has massively helped me manage my anxiety from day to day. Well narrated, easy to follow exercises and amazing results!

I did not realize this about the Vagus Nerve

Straightforward, no-fuss guide to calm your body and mind at the same time. Like it says, gives tons of techniques that take very little time to actually implement, so perfect for a busy schedule. I am big into my diet (due to personal health history) and did not realize the link between the vagus nerve and gut health/inflammation. Big win for me to learn that. Practical pick through and through.

Also of note, not kidding, a ton of exercises here. You're bound to find something that works well for you.
