I enjoyed this book and previous books in this series. But, the character of BJ is stereotypical and false, and, it's becoming a bit unrealistic in regards to Lily and her family. They are sickeningly sweet.

You don’t have to be a dog lover to enjoy this fun story of love, murder, and canine courage. The narrator handles each personality with finesse. An easy, fun read!!

Again the characters and their wit, love and friendship is so refreshing. The ending truly brought joy to my heart I could feel the happiness and joy. Some of the comment see hilarious and keeps me laughing out loud. Thank you my dear V B Burns.

I have truly enjoyed every book in this series. It brought all of the elements I love about cozy mysteries: theme, amateur sleuth, great cast of characters and a touch of romance.

Started with the 1st book and got hooked. It was funny and well written out of this world in places but that is what I was looking for. I love she wrote about the dogs and continued the story line throughout all the books. Well worth the read. Wish I could find my Red.

Being an active StdPoodle owner and obedience class attendee - I love the VM Burns books. The mystery is thought provoking and the romance is light and not too gooey.

I honestly can't say what it is that makes me love these short novels, but I really do. They each are a very quick and easy story arc where the bad guy gets caught and the storyline leaves feeling happy.

Honestly, what more would you ever want?

So - I will continue to read each and every new book in this series.

The narrator Madison Vaughn did a wonderful job with this book! I loved this story and appreciate that all the “loose ends” were tied up naturally and not a forced ending. Great job to author VM Burns and Ms Burns for an enjoyable “read.”

This was an enjoyable listen. The entire gang comes together with this one, along with a couple of interesting situations.

The book was ok. The plot was predictable, but reading the book is like wrapping up in a comfortable blanket. A cozy, lighthearted, and familiar experience.
