I listen to these types of stories because I like detail. There was one detail where slaughter found a compass in his enemy's possession and then had to wait for the sun to rise before he knew which way was North or South. Otherwise, all in all very good book.

Its a good story I enjoy the series. Only problem is im pretty sure the narrator burps at one point and loses his place. Not sure why they didn’t edit better.

I believe I either heard the narrator burp or fart while he was reading the book, pretty funny honestly. There were also a few time when he would read something and then read the same part again. Book was really good but someone needs to go back and listen to it again and edit out the extra stuff.

This is the fourth book in the Slaughter series. I suggest listening to the series in order but it can be listened to as a stand alone.
This book picks up right where the third book left off. There is an attack on the SAC in a foreign country. Slaughter and his wife are both kidnapped on two different locations. He’s taken one place to play a deadly game. Abby is taken to another as insurance. Meanwhile back at their headquarters in Texas there is chaos.
The plot does require some suspension of belief. But it sure is fun listening to these characters get out of sticky situations in ways that could exist only in this author’s imagination!
Shawn Milo does a great job narrating.

This is the fourth installment to the slaughter series and I really enjoyed the overall story but I felt like the ending was rushed...there are a lot of unanswered questions or maybe they will be answered in the next book hopefully. I think someone needs to check the editing on the audio there was a couple parts of the novel where the narrator stopped and cleared his throat or burped.

Great action for those of us who remember the days of tough men with big guns righting wrongs without all the trails and lawyers and civil rights! Just shoot them in the eye and move on to the next bad guy!
