About this listen

If you struggle to look people in the eye during social situations or if you wrestle with holding even the simplest of conversations, then this guide is for you.

Here's the thing: Social anxiety signals a lack of confidence that turns off whomever you're interacting with, whether it is hanging out with your friends in the bar, talking shop with coworkers, asking that guy or girl you like out on a date, or even asking your boss for a raise. An unhealthy amount of social anxiety will severely cripple your chances of ever getting what you want.

In this essential guide, you're going to learn how to get rid of your social anxiety and boost your confidence with field-tested, science-backed techniques that have changed the social and professional lives of shy individuals just like you. Social Anxiety Disorder is an audiobook that skips all the fluff and filler that is rife with self-help guides and gives you the tools to overcome shyness.

Here's a sample of what you're going to discover in this guide:

  • Six inspiring case studies of people like you who managed to overcome social anxiety and lead quality lives
  • Why avoiding what you fear only strengthens that fear and makes it worse
  • Identifying and nipping negative thoughts in the bud before they run out of control
  • How to destroy the vicious cycle of negative and self-defeating thoughts
  • How to embrace discomfort and become a magnetic person despite it
  • How to use effectively use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to overcome your anxiety
  • Five things you should constantly keep track of if you want to become socially free and how to track them
  • Identifying when other people are socially anxious and how to put them at ease and make them trust you

Deeply profound and highly practical, Social Anxiety Disorder is an audiobook that gives you the tools and techniques you need to conquer your social anxiety and become a charismatic individual other people love, trust, and depend on.

Excellent Audiobook

The case studies were very relatable. I almost felt like I was one of them. This book did a great job at showing how prevalent mental disorders can be. I didn’t realize how many people have anxiety.

Suggested exercises were useful

This was definitely worth the $7. I didn’t listen to the entire audiobook yet, as I am familiar with the science and history of social anxiety, but the exercises were really helpful and easy to implement.

I don't think writer of this book ever dealt with

All this book does is chastise people with social anxiety as if it's something you make up in your head and that group therapy is the answer to it. It's more than that. It's partial that triggers it. But the food that we eat, the water that we drink. All effects our nervous system. Something like excitement can trigger anxiety, it's not always something negative. By the perspective of this book it clear shows the person never had it. It's a bit insulting.

Poor Narrator

I bought the book because I have anxiety. The narrator spoke in an aggressive, fast, and blunt way. People with anxiety need someone to help them feel calmer and more confident. By the end of the second chapter I felt stressed and couldn’t focus on what the book was trying to get across. How can someone who treats people with different types of anxiety be so dense.
