Publisher's summary

Brad Blanton is at ease in this first volume of his autobiography. Some NEW Kind of Trailer Trash tells the tale of Brad Blanton, including the most intimate details, demonstrating the inner security and self-deprecating humor which it would seem support his international reputation as a gestalt therapist, seminar leader, and writer published all over the world.

He owns his life in all aspects and finds in his weirdness his salvation, demonstrating the radical honesty he's made famous and rooting his self-understanding, which is considerable, in his childhood. Transformation personified.

Some new kind of trailer trash

Brad Blanton is an excellent author, an inspiring writer and a man of many experiences. I would recommend all of his books to anyone who has the capacity to read but his latest work, his autobiography is especially touching and will make you laugh, cry and appreciate him for the man he is. I am patiently waiting for part two to be released so the rest of the story can be told. Robbie Wares Wichita Ks.

Wow

This book deeply touched me. I cried and laughed and was inspired and angry lots of times. I much loved the story of what happened and I loved even more the way it was told. I find this book very insightful and I definitely recommend it

An autobiography worth listening over and over

I've listened to this audio book several times. It is an amazing story told by a down to earth person, given all that he has accomplished over the years. It's sort of like listening to Matthew McConaughey.

Poor audiobook overall

His Ted Talk was interesting so I decided to give his autobiography a try. It ended being so boring, dull, and just full of him bragging about being with so many women. Literally hours of him describing hooking up with various women throughout his life. I’m a guy who really doesn’t care about hearing that stuff but after a while it’s just so annoying to listen to! It’s such a waste of time because I was looking for his insights on life and happiness (which he does mention, albeit briefly). But overall there was just so much he could have left out to make the audiobook more enjoyable. Don’t waste your time.
