Publisher's summary

From bestselling sapphic romance author, Eliza Lentzski, a story about taking chances and love after loss.

At this stage in her life, June St. Clare never imagined she'd be starting all over again-a new job, a new city, a new love? Looking for a fresh start after tragedy, June finds herself the unexpected owner of Lark Estates-a micro winery in the heart of Napa Valley. There, June is determined to learn the business and do her best, even if she's convinced that her assistant winemaker, the beautiful but elusive Lucia Santiago, wants to see her fail.

Lucia Santiago grew up on vineyards, almost like a grapevine herself, working her way up from cellar rat to assistant winemaker. When the property where she works is suddenly sold to a woman with no prior experience, she can't help but feel resentful of the winery's lovely but inexperienced new owner. It's too bad June's helplessness is almost endearing, stirring up emotions Lucia didn't quite expect.

Don't miss Sour Grapes—a slow-burn sapphic romance from Eliza Lentzski.

Not the best I’ve read from Lentzki

This is a good story, but I can’t say it was my favorite. I did enjoy the wine history and education, though. That was interesting. I did not enjoy the narration very much at all. The narrator has pretty much one monotone voice for every character and there was little to no emotion in it, but that could honestly be due to the semi-flat story.

Winery Knowledge

June St. Claire is mourning her wife and has to move to Napa Valley to run the vineyard they had purchased before her death. Lark Estates is a microbrewery and Lucia Santiago is the assistant wine maker under her father. Two strong women who must work together. Sweet romance.

I think it was great!

My first Eliza Lentzski book and it did not disappoint. I have now listened or read most of her other books. I have enjoyed them all so far.

It is a good book

Drama was left for the last few chapter, but I like the book. I liked the MC and narration was very good.
