decent preteen novelettes

Voice acting was good, but less strict than January LaVoy usually is, character voices usually stay the same.

Stories were good, if predictable. Characters were developed enough for preteen audiences.

Thrilling and Heartwarming Conclusion to the Serie

This was a thrilling finish to the series. Lina and Milo are shot down on the planet their parents have been imprisoned on. Their journey and new friends contrast with Governor Tarkin and his evil plans holding their parents. I love the natives and how things come together. This wonderful stories show how much Lina and Milo have grown and changed, along with their droid contrasted with the views of their parents. It would have been wonderful to have seen this series continue.

January LaVoy is fantastic as always on narration, she has such a beautiful voice. Please note that because this is a youth title, there won't be the special effects and music found on the adult titles from Random House Audio.

Solid Story with elements that are truly Star Wars

While the first 4 books were okay at best as an adult reader, these next 3 hit a higher mark. They really dived into the alien side of Star Wars and hit all the right notes. The story was exciting, however I did feel that Tarkin sometimes did things a little out of character.

January LaVoy nailed her performance once more. She is such a talented reader, any story she narrates is a treat.

Kids loved it!

My 8 and 9 year old lived every minute! A little too dramatic for dad but Star Wars is always worth a listen

Fun adventure story for the whole family

I listened to this collection as well as the first collection (Adventures in Wild Space Books 1-3) with my 6-year-old son. We both really enjoyed the story and January LaVoy's performance was great. We were left wanting more even after ~12 hours of listening pleasure. Each collection says 'books x-y' but really it is all one continuous story with each 'book' being like a long chapter. You do not need to be a star wars fannatic enjoy these stories.

Great action for 6 and 7 year olds.

Perfect level of action and intensity for my 6 and 7 yr old boys. Appreciated that it was just good clean fun, no woke agenda poisoning the fun.

Annoying brats

Hearing snarky children screaming at each other for hours is not an enjoyable experience. Especially when most of the danger they encounter is the result of their own stupid actions.
