Inspiring and hope filled

Would you listen to Still Standing again? Why?

The stories concern everyday black women and families and their everyday trials just trying to survive life and it's difficulties. The stories give hope to anyone going through hard times.
The narrator does a great job keeping the stories real and moving. I kept wanting to hear what was going to happen next.

Who was your favorite character and why?

It's hard to pin down one character that stands out. I enjoyed them all and their special life stories.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite story was the last one. I loved life being compared to a torn garment. How rips and tears need to be repaired before they turn into bigger problems.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Because of my busy schedule I had to listen on my drives to and from work.

Any additional comments?

It's a wonderful book.
