About this listen

They say no man can rob a dragon. Good thing I’m not a man.

There’s an underground magical vault, protected by sorcery, security cameras, guards, and whatnot. Think of the most impenetrable place in the world. Now triple it.

Here comes the bad news. It belongs to a dragon, and I was hired to break into it and steal his hoard. Suicidal? Insane? Maybe, but...actually, there’s no but. It’s suicidal and insane. Still, fortune favors the bold. Let’s hope fortune has a good disposition toward the crazy as well.

I might be an alchemist extraordinaire and the best burglar on the East Coast, but this is not a solo job. I’ll need a team for this one. Accompanied by a powerful sorcerer, a fortune teller, a scam artist, and a hacker, I embark on the heist of the century. If we succeed, we’ll be legends. If not - crispy dragon snacks.

Stolen Soul

Great read. I wasn't sure I'd like it, so glad I bought it. Narrator was also excellent. Can't wait to get started on the next book!!

Secondary characters great

The main character was okay, but struck me as not so nice and definitely not someone I cared about. However, the secondary characters were interesting and amusing. The plot was enough to hold interest, and, which is to my taste, nothing terrible happened although there were lots and lots of close calls and miraculous saves.

Great start to a great series!

I loved this book. It had a great flow. The main character is the perfect heroine she’s badass and isn’t a whiny brat that makes rash decisions like most of the heroines in these types of books. This is what badass heroines SHOULD be like. I’m so tired of them being whiny and act childish who don’t know their own powers. Then that one sexy muscles whatever eye color guy notices and falls in love with her badassness but she just can’t get with him. Yah, this ain’t that type of book. It was action packed and kept me on the edge of my seat. each character was relatable and hilarious! The interactions were great. It’s a breath of fresh air and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can’t wait for the next book!!

Lackluster

I couldn't fall into the story. Every time it felt like it was on the cusp of greatness, it would fall short. I wanted surprise, action, adventure. What I got was a story I hadn't read before (which was nice) but consistent of a lot of talking, a few moments of action and a lukewarm romance at best. I wouldn't recommend this to friends.

A good urban fantasy

A good short urban fantasy read. Only reason I don't give it five stars is because it does not really stand out from other urban fantasy, or do much world building. Everything in the world is just kinda there and has always been there with little affect on history or society. Heck, the main character is somehow both a poor orphan who used to live on the streets and has one of a kind artifacts that could set her for life. But instead she makes a living selling alchemy ingredients and just legal drugs. :p
