To save Olympus, a fraternity of Greek demigods must find their true love in the mortal realm—it's Percy Jackson (for grown-ups) meets feel-good magical romance!

Zed is a demigod of storms who drifts through life, leaving a trail of broken hearts in his wake. That is, until a mortal stops him and his storm in their tracks....

Tempest is a small-town librarian, whose only adventures come from her beloved books. But all that changes when she discovers a deadly secret, and is thrown into a world of magic and adventure.

Storm Chaser!

This is an absolute page turner of a story. I listened to the audio version and kept wanting the narrator to talk faster. The narrator did a really good job bringing the characters and their story to life. The author does a wonderful job brining the Greek Gods and mythology to life. The story is fun with some delightful surprises and twists along the way. Zed, a demigod, is brought to his knees by Tempest, a librarian. This is so good that I plan to pick up the next one titled "Smoke Jumper".

1st encounter

Storm Chaser: Sons of Olympus, Book 1 of the series by Eden Royale
I have to say that the beginning was a little rough going. I was not able to connect. I think it had more to do with the narrator, Katie Bloomwood. After getting further in, I was able to accept the narrators voice and pay more attention to the story. Even by the end I was not real sure, but there was some promise to move on to the next story.

Great Story and Wonderful Narration

The story with Zed and Tempest is wonderful and filled with the adventure that Tempest has been missing.

The narration is very easy to listen to and keep engaged with. Her tonal changed for characters help bring them to life.

I enjoyed this audio version immensely.

What a Fun Ride … and I Mean that Literally!!

I read this as an ebook a while back and enjoyed it thoroughly. When the author then offered it as an audiobook, I had to see if I would enjoy it in that format as well. I'm so glad I decided to revisit this story and world. The narrator made the story truly come alive in the audiobook version, making the intense scenes of riding/chasing storms incredibly vivid. Yes, these scenes are very supernatural and unrealistic, but the author and narrator make them seem very real and make your adrenaline pump as if you were right there with the characters. The narrator was not perfect, however. I wasn't wild about how she voiced the human villain, making him sound like a little boy instead of a grown man. Other than that, this truly was a delightful listen that kept me up longer than I had intended just because I wanted to keep the fun going.

In this book, lives are at stake, and realms that are never meant to interact … do, but it has some humorous moments and slight irreverence. Skillfully done, but may rub some readers who are looking for something a little more serious about the old gods the wrong way. If you want them to always be treated with deference and reverence in this book, you will usually be disappointed…but in a good way! If you take it for what it is, it's a hoot and quite a fun ride … literally and figuratively. I look forward to the next books in the series. If you enjoy books steeped in mythology—as so many popular movies of the last decade have been—and especially if you like Percy Jackson and crew, you will probably enjoy this somewhat more grown-up and whimsical version of those kinds of stories as much as I did. Highly recommended as an audiobook.

in the eye of the storm

This was the start of the Son's of Olympus series and it's a great start. I was a little frustrated by how quickly the h accepted that the members of the Storm Chasers biker gang were more than just normal bikers and really deni-gods but she took forever to link the colors of lightning to the characters. Some of the plot twists I could see a mile away. I felt like there was more action and challenges between the h and H and outsiders and less interaction and relationship development between the h and H.

Loved it

This was a fun story to listen to on audio. Though I do with narration could have been male/female voices, I loved the storyline of cocky Gods getting set in their places. Being set in an MC gang and being stormchasers, this was the most original idea I have seen for using greek myths yet. It was perfect. The narration was good. The storyline was perfect. The characters were just right for this story. I would recommend this story.

Storm Chaser

I received this as an ARC for my honest opinion and I honestly loved it. I would definitely recommend that you listen to and read this book. Zephyr is asked by Hera to bring love to the Sons of Olympus in order to relight the torch of Olympus to keep the world from fading into darkness. The Sons are gods that live among mortals. Zephyr first assignment is to help a descendent of Zeus named Zed of the Stormchasers to find and claim his mate. Zed, Ixion, and Dash are riding a storm high in the sky when he looks down to sees an earth-bound racing through the storm below on an old dirt bike? He aims lightning towards the bike but the rider is undeterred and races on. So Zed decides to double down and send more lightning and also sonic boom of thunder and still the rider is unfazed by his storms if anything it seems like the rider embraced it. So when the bike finally comes to a halt at the edge of a sheer drop Zed is surprised to see that it is a beautiful woman who calls to him like a siren. But Seth who is the alpha of Zed’s Stormchaser gang does not allow them to form mate bonds and he hates the earth-bound even more. Tempest was raised by her Uncle Arthur in a bookstore when her mother disappeared after following a storm one night. Tempest suffers from migraines and the only thing that seems to helps them is riding on her mother's old dirt bike. Tempest feels the same connection to the storms that her mom always talked about and it scares her. When Zed and the other Stormchasers come to town she starts to question the everything and everyone that is keeping her in town when all she wants to do is travel. But is she prepared for what being with Zed will cause when Seth finds out? Maybe it’s time for a new Alpha?
