Feel the thunder!

Stryker Company always brings the fight, but when they relieve embittered and embattled Republic marines, they find an enemy unwilling to stand up and face them. Tasked with protecting the Republic's interests on a mining world, the legionnaires face roadside ambushes, double-dealing locals, and constant sabotage.

And the mission isn’t as straightforward as they thought it would be.

As skirmishes escalate into coordinated ambushes and assaults, two squad leaders, Talon and Lankin, are forced to chase after the sparks threatening to ignite the entire populace into a full-blown insurgency. Denied the legionnaires and resources they need to contain the situation, a single platoon fights to complete a mission requiring all of Stryker Company. The outnumbered platoon must work their way from glittering coastal ports, through steamy jungles and dust-covered mines, to find an enemy hidden seamlessly among the indigenous populace.

The cost is high; the sacrifice great…but nothing short of death itself will stop the legionnaires of Stryker Company from completing its objective. In this stand-alone tale of combat, brotherhood, and sacrifice, these legionnaires will learn what it truly means to make the ultimate sacrifices for their friends.

Experience this thrilling story of combat, brotherhood and sacrifice set in the Galaxy’s Edge universe as USAF veteran and retired police officer Josh Hayes teams up with Anspach & Cole. If you’re a fan of Legionnaire you’ll love this military sci-fi thriller.

it really drives the Point home. They truly capture the essence of duty and brotherhood.

Best one yet.

Another good story. A little less full than others, likely because of the shorter overall length, that follows a unit in the times before (I think) the main universe arch. Follows in the veins of the Iron Wolves, adding depth and detail unrelated to the tent pole stories. Well worth the credit if not just a bit short.

Another solid entry in the Legionaire Universe

I like disliking characters. It’s like you’re feeling the story as it being spoken and their pain and frustration becomes part of you.

Hate to finish the books

"The Order of the Centurion is the highest award that can be bestowed upon an individual serving in, or with, the Legion"

It was earned here.

The book was great! Stryker’s War is awesome! I think the book does a great job at showing the many different things that soldiers have to balance. Not only their duty and their responsibilities, but also difficult leaders and things that are thrust upon them. Are soldiers supposed to be acting as police? As politicians? That question is posed to the readers, but best answered by our own warriors. Another theme of the book is how one responds to the enemy and how they should be dealt with. I think it is an interesting book about brotherhood, friendship, honor, and duty. Great job Josh Hayes, Jason Anspach, and Nick Cole! KTF!

I felt like the preformance was great other than the inconsistent voices for the indigs, but the raw emotions felt were captivating.

Great read and preformance

One of the best galaxy’s edge books I’ve listened to. Perfect example of what this series is all about, aliens, gunfights, hating points, and incredible characters. If you like galaxy’s edge you’ll love strikers war

Excellent

I really hate it when good guys die. I guess it was necessary for this one.

I started the Galaxy’s Edge series just over a month ago and am bingeing on it. Except for the 1st book, (Order of the Centurion) the Centurion series doesn’t appear in the Audible “Galaxy’s Edge” series list. Probably because (so far) the Centurion books appear to be a prequel to the popular GE series. It starts 27 years before the Savage wars. The 1st book in This “Galaxy’s Edge: Order of the Centurion” series is book #10 in the GE series and is about Washam in book 11. I am getting ready to download “through the nether” , which is book 4 in the Centurion grouping, but it is actually the 18th book I’ve read in the whole series.

I’m reading them by date but Centurion can stand alone. I like that it provides background about the early days of the Legion.

No, RC Bray doesn’t narrate The Centurion series. It has different co-authors and different narrators. If you can get through the performance of book 2,, book 3 is well worth it. I am very familiar with Ray Porter. He did the Bobaverse series and is an excellent performer.

In reading the two series in date order, I’m hoping I see a few of these really young legionnaires from the order of the Centurion, in later books in the Galaxy edge series like Washam.

This one was sad 😢
