Revealing the Subscribed Economy

What made the experience of listening to Subscription Marketing the most enjoyable?

Finally I have a clearer understanding of an almost invisible method of doing business, subscriptions. But this book goes beyond subscriptions and lays out a method of giving real value to the customer while maintaining an enduring relationship and avoid churn.

My next step will be to purchase printed a printed copy to highlight essential parts and write lots of notes in the margins. Well done!

Poor Recording Quality, but a decent overview.

This audio is a decent overview on the history of subscription models.
But the title suggests we are going to learn about marketing, and the author
does not dwell on that very much. Most of the book reviews what other big name companies
have done to switch from old revenue models to subscription marketing,... so if you haven't listened
to any other books on this subject, then you may find some interesting stories.
As far as the subtitle "Strategies for nurturing customers in a world of churn", the author gives a few points,
but they are forgettable. For example, the author says multiple times "Don't be Creepy" and tells you that
even if you have the data, don't creep your customers out by suggesting things for them based on their habits.
But honestly, that's really the only one of the strategies that stuck out, and it's average at best.
The main reason overall that I did not enjoy this audio is that the Quality of the recording is pretty bad.
You can hear the feedback hiss when the recorder is turned on / off. The author also just seems to read the
text and not put much emotion / passion into the reading. Would of been better with a hired Narrator and
recorded in a professional studio. Can only recommend if you get it in a daily deal or another inexpensive sale.

Please improve your sound quality.

Hissing noise in the audio makes it very hard to pay attention to the content.

High quality audio is ubiquitous on audible.

The few titles that have missed the mark on this are at a strong disadvantage to their competitors.
