Publisher's summary

Falling in love is easy. Finding the right guy to spend happily ever after with... that's the hard part.

But I have a foolproof plan. I'm taking the tropes that work in romance books and applying them to my love life.

Only one bed? Never fails.

Caring for someone when they're sick? A classic.

Who did this to you? Seals the deal every single time.

So long, loneliness. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

But the more I try to force romance, the more feelings naturally progress with the one man who's off limits: Walker Collins, the guy I've had a secret crush on since 7th grade, not to mention my best friend's older brother.

Dating Walker crosses BFF lines I swore I'd never cross. Plus, he hates Sunset Harbor, and his pro golf career will take him off the island as fast as he came, sending me back to the land of singlehood, loneliness, and broken hearts.

At the end of the day, I don't want to be the fool in my foolproof plan.

Summer Ever After brings all the sizzle and chemistry without the explicit scenes and language. It’s the perfect romcom to make you laugh and fall in love.

Check out the rest of the books in the Falling for Summer Series. Seven interconnected books from seven different romcom authors. One small island. Lots of romance.

Super cute

Loved seeing how Jane used her favorite romance tropes to get a guy. Super creative and I loved it was clean!

Cutesy story

The lady narrator narrated it a bit whiney in my opinion… but other than that it’s a cute romcom.

Wonderfully sweet

I really enjoyed this book and the characters. I was definitely rooting for them the whole time! I didn’t love the narrators, I felt like their voices didn’t fit the characters but overall it was a great read! ♥️

Love the story of Jane & Walker!

All the stars for Summer Ever After by Kortney Keisel! This has everything I want in a summer Rom-Com! Although I finished it days ago, I’m still thinking about it!

“What can I say? I love love. I swoon over book boyfriends, feel my heart pound during love declarations in movies, sigh at sweet lyrics in songs.”

Jane loves everything about love and she’s decided “It’s the summer of Jane Hayes”. She’s going to tackle dating every eligible guy in her community on Sunset Harbor Island using all of her favorite romance tropes.

The problem is, every time Jane tries to put one of her romance tropes into play on a date, they end up back firing and she ends up randomly experiencing tropes with her lifelong crush Walker. Walker is her best friend Capri’s older brother and has been off-limits since middle school when they made the BFF code.

Walker is a professional golfer who in recent years won the Masters, but as of yet has had a difficult time with his game. He came to Sunset Harbor just to get advice and coaching from his old mentor. Walker learns it’s not the mechanics of his swing that need adjusting, it’s his head and possibly his heart!

What you’ll find:
Dual POV
So many dating tropes!!
A grandmother who reads spicy books!
Small island community
Best friend’s brother
Forbidden love
He teaches her to golf!
A first kiss to beat all others!
4th of July
A grand gesture!
So many laughs!!

“Because when you finally figure out who you want to spend the rest of your life with, the rest of your life can’t start soon enough.”

Every Summer After is part of a multi-author series called: Falling for Summer. If this book is any indication on what the series will be like, I’m all in!!

Romance content: Just (the best) kisses!!

The entire series will all be available on Kindle Unlimited and on audio!!

(See previous post on release dates for the entire series)

Run, don’t walk on this one!!

Pub date: June 12, 2024

July 2024 - previewed the audio version. It has dual readers which I’m still trying to get used to - but this one was done well!! Still love Jane and Walker!!

Good Humor

I enjoyed the hilarious scenes Jane gets herself into. And as always, Amanda Friday and Andy Harrington are some of the best narrators I've heard.

Couldn’t make it far

I hate to do reviews like this but the voices were bad. & the story itself was cringe and so desperate. I had to turn it off
