David’s father died unexpectedly, leaving behind a 1950’s-era Oldsmobile. A car collector in Florida will pay extra if he drives it down from Colorado. David and his friends Michael, Edgar and Sam decide to make the road trip together. Their route takes them through the town of Barlow, Alabama. An ominous sign on the outskirts of town warns that Barlow is a Sundown town—a town where lynching is still practiced after sun down—and that minorities are not welcome. The four of them attempt to flee when they are confronted by the town’s vicious Sheriff. They are thrust into fight for survival and soon discover that there is something far more evil controlling the town.
