I really enjoy Michael's books and this was no exception. The story immersed you into his world. The read was clear voiced and a pleasure to listen to. I liked it enough to get the second book.

I usually Look for fantasy romances which this isn’t one. However, it’s a great story with an elf leading the charge. I loved our female superhero with her two sidekicks saving the day.
