About this listen

How hard could it be?

You're back? And you want to know what happened next? Well okay then, pull up a chair, and I'll tell you what went down in Minot.

Yes. North Dakota. That Minot. Just goes to show not all the strange is confined to the big city.

We went up there looking for the missing daughter of a friend of mine and wound up neck-deep in trouble when instead of the missing girl, we found a drug ring.

And a mind-controlled cult.

Ruse did something stupid, Cougs got jealous, Kahni caused trouble, I got arrested again, and by the end of it, half the town was gunning for my hide.

Interested? Well grab a drink and some snacks, because you'll never believe this....

Warning: This book has adult themes including a slow-burn harem and violence.

the plot and story were good. I'm not really a big fan of drug ring or PI/noir stories but the super hero angle and setting makes it more more interesting. There was a technical issue the voice actors tracks are not lined up correctly in ch. 15 it's not un-listenable but nearly.

pretty good follow up

The characters are fun and well fleshed out. The MC is likeable and funny. The plot is smartly written and, in the context of this world, very believable. It's a great story and not much more needs to be said.

This series is incredible.

This was a good second book can't wait for the next one, although needs some intimate scenes in it. that would have really set it off!

Awesome book can't wait for the next one

I really enjoyed the story in this installment, will definitely be picking up the next book. Audio issues in chapter 15, very annoying but relatively brief. Doesn’t ruin the book since it only lasts for about 20 minutes.

Great book

Masterful performance!

I love the book, it's a great story, but Daniel and Rebecca bring it to life. They do a great job and I can't wait for book 3.

Cebelius is fantastic as always with his quick wit and fantastic pacing will keep your listen for just ooooone more chapter.

That is saying nothing about the phenomenal cosmic powers of Dan and Rebecca.
Seriously the voice of Cougs makes me weak in the knees...

Do yourself a favor and check this out!

One helluva ride!

This was a wonderful follow up on previous work with significant development for Andy! it also resolved or developed some of the questions left from the previous book. I highly look forward to the next book and am debating buying the ebook now or waiting for audiobook considering the amazing vocal work. Only problem was some volume issues on couple of chapters, nothing major just a little quieter on a few not enough to turn up the volume, just noticable change.

Really love what they did with Andy!
