About this listen

Love isn't real. It's just a biochemical reaction. Right?

That's what I've always believed. All my friends falling in love with these gorgeous golden alien pirates? I'm convinced they're just experiencing biological impulses.

I mean, I get it. I watch Zander stride through the hallways to me and my heart skips a beat. I see him lean over to speak to me and my knees weaken. When he touches me? It's like a supernova...down there.

I want to be with him. To laugh with him. Satisfy him. Stay with him. Who knows how long we have in this galaxy? Our enemies are still as determined as ever. I want my time with the deliciously muscular alien to count.

Except that means I was wrong about love. It isn't just physical. Not just chemicals. It feels so true in my mind, body, and soul. But that's not science.... I don't know if I can trust that.

True love can't be real. Can it?

Contains mature themes.

Narrator

Don’t know if Tristen James was channeling John Wayne or Captain James Kirk, but it was borderline line too much to finish the entire story.

Sweet Brainiacs

These two were perfect for each other other although Thrace had to grow on me

Good series

Wouldn’t say this series started off great. Book 1 was only *just* engaging enough to move me to proceed to book 2. It’s really hitting it’s stride though in book 5. I thought Zander & Thrace would be my least favorite couple but I really enjoyed them. Might be my favorite couple of the series so far. Lots of fun. Looking forward to next book.

Truly bad writing

Why bother introducing a species and all the sexual potential, but leaving it to a few small paragraphs in the end? Not every author can be Dixon or Dohner.

The narrator has worked on many of Dixons books, but rarely goes into the Shatneresque dialect used here. It is irritating and the plot is droll.
