The best combination of writer and narrator in a series that I've ever listened to

I couldn't wait until another book in the series came out. The author has a way of both scaring me to death with regard to the safety of the characters and making me literally laugh out loud which must make me look insane to the cars passing me on the road. This is one of the books where you can get upset to get to the end of the story because you get so caught up in the events happening that you just want it to continue. For me this series is the best of the Zombie genre and I highly recommend the story both for the writing and the narrator's performance. He does the voices in a way that allows you to imagine the characters. I sincerely hope there will be a follow up!

Best author and narrater

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Zf is hands down the best story ever written mark tufo tells a tell that makes you feel part of it. And Sean runnette is the best voice for mike. Zf I so can't wait until the show starts

Who was your favorite character and why?

Tommy. He's just so sweet caring and can do anything

Have you listened to any of Sean Runnette’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've listened to alot of Sean runnette's other works for example hunt, prey, trap. And a few others not by Mark and at first I was like this is not mike having to remind myself. But so got by that. He's very good at what he does.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes it was very hard to stop it but I did to try and make it last longer. With every new book that comes out I start with 1 and go from the beginning. I've listened to the whole series a dozen or more time already and lf, and ridley ect. Keep up the good work Mark. Love you

Another great one in the series.

I thought this was going to be a "wrap up" novel but with the action, Tufo left more open to explore.

Can't wait for the next book.

Michael Talbot is quite possibly the biggest smart alec in all zombie fiction. He is also a truly good person. I highly recommend this book. I hope the next one comes soon. That vampire and her zombie friends are nasty customers.

Good stuff -- keep going....

I've read/ listened to every installment in the Fallout series. From the beginning, I was a fan. This book is a great continuation of the story. Another reviewer complained that the story was too predictable, and his comment made me hesitate to buy this one. But, I disagree. Of course, the flow follows a familiar path. But, that's kind of why I stay with a series -- and takes nothing away from the enjoyment.

So, don't hesitate. Start with the first book, and consume the entire series. In audiobook format, 'cause the narrator is an integral part of the experience.

(Oh yeah, to Tufo and Runnette, great bit at Ch. 6, 5:22.)
