Inspired by a true story.

People are brought into our lives for many reasons. Over time, we find out who is meant to be a temporary acquaintance and who will be there for a lifetime.

Easton Crawford put his modeling career before his marriage until it was ending in divorce. Years later, he is finally learning how to be the father his daughter needs him to be. He's not looking for someone to step into the mother role - just nightly casual hook-ups.

When his best friend convinces him that a good way to meet single women is to go on a singles cruise, he finds more than just a one-night stand.

At age 13, Brooke Bradley became an adult, raising her younger sister while her mother continually ignored her parenting responsibilities. Since then, Brooke has continued to take care of the people in her life, including her deadbeat boyfriend, Jared.

For Brooke's 30th birthday, her best friend surprises her with a cruise but fails to mention it's a singles cruise. When Brooke meets Easton, the one man willing to be her constant, will she finally find the courage to leave Jared?

Easton knows that Brooke is someone who is meant to be in his life forever, but when a health scare threatens to change everything, Brooke and Easton are faced with unanswered questions and unspoken fears. Are Brooke and Easton only meant to be temporary acquaintances or are they brought into each other lives for a lifetime?

Loved It!

What a story! Kimberly Knight wrote a very emotional book & I loved it. Easton is going through a divorce after putting his modeling career ahead of his marriage. Brooke has been forced to grow up fast & taking care of her sister when their mom wasn't being a mom. Brooke is also dating a loser named Jared. When Brooke's friend sends her on a cruise for her birthday she doesn't think too much about it. Easton's friend also sends him on a singles cruise. Brooke & Easton meet on the cruise & think that this should just be a hook-up. When Easton starts to realize that Brooke is going to be in his life a lot more, is he ready for that? Throw in a health scare with Brooke & what do they really mean to each other? This story was very emotional & I loved it. the narration was well done too. I can't wait to listen & read the next book in the series.

Easton💘Brooke! 4.5 Lovely Stars!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Tattooed Dots is a delightful, heartfelt story that immediately grabbed my attention and captivated it until the end. The storylines are interesting, realistic and relatable. The characters are well developed. My 1st impression of Easton Crawford was not a good one but does redeem himself when he realizes what he really wants in life. Brooke Bradley’s life is stuck in a rut, she is living with her long term boyfriend who takes her for granted and does not treat her right. Her best friend Nicole takes her on a cruise where they meet Easton and his friend Avery. Avery and Nicole hit it off and wind up hooking right away leaving Brooke and Easton to hang together. They clicked right from the start and soon realize their feelings for each other run deep. I enjoyed their story, I was happy Brooke got rid of her loser boyfriend and found someone who would cherish her, be there for her. I loved how Easton was with his daughter. This is a great story, one of love, friendship, family and of finding oneself. Thank you Kimberly Knight, I hope one day no one will have the need for tattooed dots.

I listened to the Audible Edition, Josh Logan and Eva Eastman do a nice job narrating and telling the story.

The premise is good.

3.5 Stars. The story is good. The writing is a skeleton of which could be an amazing book. But it reads and listens like a friend complaining about her life; in an over the top manner. So, it is real. I find the medical pieces offensive; clearly the author or character lacks basic understanding of the medical field, yet judges them harshly. With refinement, this would be great. The story would be a worthwhile hallmark romance movie. #AudiobookObsession

Great Story line with great characters

I really enjoyed the story line and the characters overall, although it did take a little while for Easton to grow on me. His character showed a lot of growth from the beginning of the book to the time he met Brooke and ultimately to the end of the story, which was nice to see. He was caring and compassionate when it came to waiting for Brooke, and through Brooke's medical ordeal and he was a terrific dad, which is always a swoon-worthy trait.

I thought it was fun how all the characters were friends and look forward to reading more of Avery and Nicole's story and more of these charaters in general. I found the story to be engaging and the writing to be strong.

My one critique would be in the area of narration. At times I felt like the narration flowed fairly well, while at others it seemed kind of choppy or like there was no feeling in the words being said. I also felt like the male narrator made Easton's daughter sound much younger than ten. However, overall I enjoyed listening to the book. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

A change for the better

Tattooed Dots by Kimberly Knight is the first book in the Halo series. This is Eason Crawford and and Brooke Bradley's story. When we meet Eason he and his wife are in the middle of a contentious divorce. He's a sought after male model and she was the stay at home wife stuck with raising their daughter while he pretty much did what he wanted. He was not a nice guy. After a court hearing, the unthinkable happened, His soon to be ex wife was killed in a car accident. Eason had to make a jaor chance in his life because he now had the sole responsibility of raising his daughter . Brooke is a paralegel who had the responsibility of raising her sibling because her Mom took off, and she is in a relationship with her loser of a boyfriend, Jared.
Eason must make changes fast in his life in order to be the dad his 10 year old daughter deserves. He goes into partnership with his friend Avery running a bar they own. He's still a player, but not as bad as he was.
Brooke and Eason meet on a cruise that Brooke's friend got her as a birthday gift. She tricked her into going by not telling her untill it was too late, that it was a singles cruise. Brooke and Eason click right away, but Brooke doesn't cheat on her deadbeat boyfriend. They really make a connection. Eason is hooked, but they have so many obstacles to overcome: first, the live four hours from each other. Second there is the deadbeat, third, there is Eason's daughter to consider. Then something totally unexpected happens that affects everyone. Does Eason and Brooke"s connection manage to survive? You will be pulling for everyone in this book, make sure you also get book 2 in the series, The One, Avery's story.I enjoyed the narration, they wre both the to me. Great Book!

I was drawn in to this story! I loved single dad and bad boy stories, this is the best of both worlds. I like that he was struggling with what ti do because he was putting his daughter first which he should, but then he also wanted to be there for the woman he liked/loved. Those are real struggles. Narrators were amazing.

Great story

From the prologue to the end of the story, this was a book that I changed my opinion on numerous times. I had a love/hate relationship with Easton, but once Brooke comes into the picture I could not stop listening. My emotions were everywhere. I only wish the narrators fit the story better but overall a very good story.

Tattooed Dots

This was my first book by Kimberly Knight. The storyline was great, and I loved the best friends meeting best friends aspect. I did feel like the parts that were probably meant to be dramatic or the big road bumps in the book were a bit bland. it felt like mostly smooth sailing even when it shouldn't have been. That being said, It's the perfect book to come back and re-read when you've read something overly emotional or action packed and need a getaway.

The audio performance by Josh Logan and Eva Eastman was very well done. I will be looking for their other narrations in the future.

Brooke has just turned 30 and her best friend Nicole gives her a trip on a singles cruise as a birthday present. The only problem with that is Brooke has a boyfriend but she decides the trip will be fun regardless. Easton is a single dad, has been raising his daughter alone for the last 5 years after his ex was killed in a car accident. Eastons best friend & business partner Avery decides that it's time for them both to get a break from their bar and possibly meet "the one" on a singles cruise. Within an hour of being on the cruise Easton runs into Brooke who introduces Nicole to Avery. That is how they spend the rest of the time on the cruise but roadblocks come up because of Brooke current-almost ex boyfriends, the disadvantage of having a long distance relationship, and health problems that arise.

Great story

This is such a great story. I really enjoyed reading this book and when I got the chance to listen to it I jumped at it. It’s a great love story. Regarding the narration, I was a little disappointed by the voice actors but the story was definitely worth it.

Great narration!

I want to start off by saying I enjoyed the audiobook considerably and the performances were very well done!

Brooke has been dating Jared for years, living together and feeling as if they are married yet wondering why he hasn't asked the question. When she meets Easton, he helps her realize how crappy Jared is and she starts to see her relationship for what it really is, she realizes she needs to figure out what is best for her and her sanity.

Easton has no desire to settle down, he's been there and done that before, he isn't interested in a repeat performance. He's content in his bachelor ways. After meeting Brooke he realizes just how much he's been missing and realizes he isn't happy with his lifestyle and it isn't good for his daughter.

There are a few critiques I have for this book, the story was good and flowed nicely. However, there were a few corny/cheesy parts that seemed like the author was trying too hard, and the sex scenes seemed too forced. They were too vulgar for me and some of the things that Easton said didn’t seem realistic, it seemed more like something Brooke would say about Easton instead of something a man would say about himself.

I loved Easton and I enjoyed getting his side of the story as well. I was surprised by the illness, I did not see that coming at all. It hit home for me (similar situation). That’s such a scary situation and such a horrible feeling. You just dread every doctor appointment and every time the phone rings you jump, afraid the doctor is calling with bad news. All in all I enjoyed this book very much, the sex scenes were the only thing keeping me from giving a full 5 stars. Very beautiful story nonetheless!
