Inside this audiobook, you’ll learn what the online course business opportunity really looks like in 2020 and beyond - and exactly what coaches, consultants, authors, speakers, and experts need to do to seize it.
You’ll learn...
- how I went from hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt to a multimillion-dollar business in just a few years, thanks to online courses. (Introduction)
- who is really buying online courses today and how to cater to their interests (part one)
- what goes into a world-class course that protects your credibility as an expert (part five)
- a simple but super effective methodology for quickly validating that your course idea has legs (part three)
- how to attract paying students quickly - before you’ve even built out the whole course (part four)
- the four different ways that online courses can fit into your business model (part two)
- what the landscape for online courses looks like today, and how it has evolved over time (part one)
Not understanding that last part is probably the biggest reason why so many course entrepreneurs fail, and it’s not their fault - so much of what you hear out there is hype based on a playbook that’s five years out of date!
I’m not going to waste your time with rah-rah energy or pie-in-the-sky success stories. If you’re familiar with my work at Mirasee or my past books like Teach and Grow Rich or Leveraged Learning, you already know what you can look forward to in this audiobook: the straight goods on how things really work today, and what it takes to be successful with online courses.

Title itself promises more than just a description of how didactics work en general

This book is good for those who know absolutely NOTHING about building an online course. Even in that case, this gives a very broad overview with little specifics about tech or course creation.
If you’re a teacher, the course building is figure outable. But you’ll still need to choose a platform (teachable Membervault thinkific Udemy) and learn how to test the market (an old school tips in this book on that), build a MVP (minimum viable product), and develop a sales strategy. Not much on those topics and what there is lacks detail.
I’d save your $ on this one. Any platform will give you some basic crash courses on these topics and tech support to boot.
Wish I hadn’t wasted my credit on this.
