About this listen

History will change.

Sarah Lester's mother is missing, and the Indian uprising holds her father captive. The police want to question her, and even the church is demanding its pound of flesh. Her return to The Old Curiosity Shop raises more questions than answers.

Waiting in the shadows is a vengeful Richard Grey. After discovering Sarah’s ability to travel through time, nothing will stop him from restoring his name to its former glory. Not even time.

Can Sarah reunite her scattered family before Grey closes the doorway to the past?

Lots and lots of characters and storylines!

Tracey Llewellyn does an excellent job with voices and accents! I did enjoy the story but there were almost too many characters and storylines to keep track of and I'm not sure she brought it all together at the end. Like the silversmith that got trampled, why follow that rabbit and then leave so much unwritten? Overall it was good though. An enjoyable listen for the most part.

Not stellar

Obviously, I enjoyed the first 2 in this series, or I wouldn’t be reading #3. Unfortunately, this one is annoying, in that it follows tangents that barely relate to the story one has gotten caught up
In, and It leaves you, simultaneously, hoping that a book 4 will tie up all the ends we thought 3 would, and not caring to find out.

Inconclusive

After listening to all three books in the Series I’m at a loss. Many of the stories are unfinished and as they went along jumped around which made it difficult when new people were introduced and had to connect who they were. I liked the books but wish there had been more cohesiveness and wasn’t left with as many unanswered questions of the many characters stories that were still not finished. What happened to the mother and the boy with the little baby. Who were the people that the Indian man was talking about the mysteries of how the time travel began.

History

The story had a Very unsatisfactory ending unless of course there were more books in the future

Fun and Entertaining

This series is so much fun in the way the characters are so intertwined. I'm left with wanting to know more at the end of each book. However, it does take some time to figure out what year each section takes place, as it isn't revealed too early. Overall, these are an easy and pleasant listen.

Left too many unanswered questions

I very much enjoyed all three books in this series, and I felt it was building up to a Ta Da moment where everything would be explained. It didn’t!! It was over in a few short minutes like the author couldn’t think of anything else to write and just stopped. I am disappointed

Great Book Series

I loved how the characters kept bouncing back & forth through time. Thank you and I look forward to checking out other books.

Fantastic.

I hated it was over. I enjoyed the whole trilogy and couldn't wait to get to the next one after one ended

Sad it’s over

Loved it. A little choppy in second book. Wish so many people would of not died. Like her friend Patricia and what happened to the Indian rasha son. He must of been olive complected.

Hard to get Into it

Although we are following some of the same characters from the last book, this one skips around a bit too much and is gory in death descriptions. Overall, a good book, but not one I would buy again.
