Publisher's summary

This thoughtful book provides cultural analysis, probes some of the most important turning-points of biblical theology, describes the experiences of those who are proving fruitful in contemporary evangelism, and exposes readers to those who are thinking hard both strategically and practically about reaching the postmodern world.

Two decades behind, three decades forward

This book is brilliant in its construction and it’s content. While the presentations were given almost two decades ago, the content looks strangely forward (almost prophetically) at the state of evangelism. This book is potentially more applicable in our times now than it was even at its production, and it is a valuable resource to any evangelical church leader today.
