About this listen

Caffeine à la corpse, anyone?

The last thing Stacie Maroni expected to find in the break room was a dead guy. And even worse, a dead guy with her name, phone number, and office location in his pocket. If that’s not bad enough, a fellow member of the foundation she spearheads seems to be missing in action. Although these events don’t seem to be linked, Stacie is in the thick of things and sleuthing for her life. At least the two mysteries distract her from the attention of, and her attraction to, the handsome detective.

Mystery, suspense, and romance.

Great Woman Sleuth Thriller

I enjoyed this story a lot. In this book, Stacie Maroni stumbled over a dead body in her company's breakroom. The police found Stacie's personal information on a piece of paper in the dead guy's pocket, and because of this, Stacie found herself in the middle of a criminal investigation. The tale was convoluted and exciting. I really liked Stacie Maroni's character. I appreciated Stacie's relationships with her dad and her friends. I'm already looking forward to more books in this series. Naomi Rose-Mock's narration was entertaining and her performance portrayed Stacie's character as I pictured her in my imagination. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

some dicey moments

I loved this. I enjoyed the suspense and trying to guess the perpetrator and their motives. It kept me very engaged and listening raptly. Looking forward to more in this series. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Whose after Stacie?

This is the sixth installment of this series. Full of twists and turns. A man (who turns out to be a private investigator investigating Stacie) turns up dead in her office break room and a member of a foundation she sits on disappears are these related?

Stacie’s life is in danger. Is it related to her human resources job, personal life, or volunteer position as a counselor at a women’s shelter?

What I like about the series and this book is the story is always topical, well written and thought provoking. Stacie does not try to put herself in danger nor are the death/danger scenes graphic.

Looking forward to the next book. I also own this book in e-book format.

Happy new year… its another murder!

Temptation, Trouble and Murder is #6 in the Stacie Maroni mystery series by Christa Nardi. Immediately after getting back from her holiday vacation with her dad, Stacie finds a dead man in her company’s break room. Also, a friend is missing and Stacie is being threatened. There are a lot of different theories of who and why with twists and turns in the story. The narration by Naomi Rose-Mock is great! Her performance brings the characters and story to life. I received a free copy of the audiobook for my honest review.

Fantastic Cozy

Temptation, Trouble and Murder is Book 6 in a cozy series by Christa Nardi. I have enjoyed every book in this series. Staci is great heroin and I enjoy the supporting characters. I thought it was exciting for Staci to find the dead body in the office break room. The mystery and murder were written perfectly and Staci is usually a step ahead of the police detective, O'Heir (who seems to be a great kisser!). I believe that Christa Nardi has written a fabulous cozy mystery. I am hoping that there will be a book 7! Naomi Rose-Mock gives an enjoyable performance with her narration.
