This is my first audiobook by Kimberly Knight and I think it was okay. The narrators did a good job with changing the characters voices. The story was great in outlining why the characters became who they were and their motivations for it. Paul and Joss’s attraction was instantaneous and it will be interesting to see what develops between them.

great hot, steamy read

Tequila and lace was intense steamingly hot story. Joss's drive due to her past and Paul's bad memories of being in a false and pretend relationship made the perfect mix of tense story from wanting to save everyone to falling in love without expecting it at all.
What is the saying "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." In their case it's more than true.
She living her dream and try to make world safer place and him trying to forget everything he knew about bad relationships. Joss working undercover on a people trafficking case and he seeing anything but her. Although with their jobs as escort almost impossible.

I loved bringing up the past to show what happend before and why they both became the way they were.
The best? You won't know what hit you in the end. Such a great finish although their story will somehow continue in the next book. The end left me definitely hungry for more...
And the narration...again exceptionally well done by both voice actors. I loved to listen to their voices.

Paul and Joselyn’s story broke my heart but also put it back together gloriously. I loved being able to see snippets of Gabe and Autumn too.

This is Paul Jackson and Joselyn Marquez’s story and is darker than the first one.
Haunted by her mother’s betrayal and the pain she her mother’s actions caused when she was 17, Joselyn ran and didn’t look back, leaving behind her mother and 8 year old brother.
I really admired Joselyn and her dedication to bring the bad guys to justice. Her determination and tenacity in trying to make the world a safer place for women and children was truly admirable.
Tequila & Lace had suspense, danger, intrigue, steamy scenes and characters that you couldn’t help but like. There was also a twist that I did not see coming which added to the experience.
The narrators did a great job in bringing the story to life; all in all a captivating story and I am looking forward to more in this series.

This is the second book by Kimberly Knight I've read, and again the beginning chapters about tore my heart into pieces. Not just for Paul and the loss of his dreams at the hands of his high school sweetheart, but also for Joselyn and the horror she was faced with at an early age. Paul combatted his loss by joining the service, while Joselyn chose to follow a path in law enforcement and the FBI.
After the army, Paul joins the escort service Saddles and Racks with his friend, Gabe, and drinks to forget the loss of his dreams and more. After his friend/roommate finds his HEA and moves out, Paul acquires a new roommate, Joselyn, who unbeknownst to him is undercover as another escort, Andi, to take down a human trafficking ring. Sparks and witty banter fly between Jos and Paul, neither of them is looking for the chemistry and passion that sparks between them and they try to fight it.
The plot is intriguing and full of twists the reader doesn't see coming. The road to an HEA is never smooth for this couple, there are secrets on both sides and sharing them is sure to blow their budding romance sky high. I love the characters in this book, Paul was present in Angels and Whiskey as Gabe's backup and best friend. He's funny and witty, and maybe a bit full of himself, but Jos/Andi is no pushover and more than willing to take on whatever danger may be ahead. Together they are a formidable couple, once they get their collective issues resolved.
Ms. Knight is a master at pulling the reader in on page one and keeping them engrossed and wanting more from the characters throughout the book. I want more of this series and can't wait to read the next book.
The audio book is again done in duet narration, which I am rapidly becoming a fan of. The team of Kylie Stewart and Eric Rolon make a great team bringing out all the emotions in this story. On the outside Paul seems light and carefree, but the narrator did a great job bringing out his softer side and the pain in his past. Ms. Stewart adds great emotional range to Jos/Andi's character. I love this series and can't wait read the next book.

I have enjoyed several of Kimberly Knight's books in the past. This was a reminder of why. This was the first book I've read/listened to in this series. I will go back and get book one! Such a hard, dark past for Joselyn. She is so brave and strong. Paul was a great hero, fun and caring. Couldn't help liking him. The twist towards the end was stunning! I look forward to Seth's story in the next book!

Kylie Stewart and Eric Rolon were EXCELLENT narrators. They both have quickly become favorite narrators of mine. I absolutely love Eric's laugh. It was the best!! Their performances were perfection.

After meeting the charming, carefree, Paul in the first book I couldn't wait to listen to his story and it was so much more than I expected. Paul had his whole life planned out and when it was ripped away from him, he completely changed his path. Now years later the army has made him a stronger man who appreciates making women feel special and having a good time. When his new roommate, and fellow escort moves in, he begins to want what he thought was lost to him forever. Joselyn has a past that is heartbreaking and has her determined to help those who can't help themselves. She has never been attracted to another man since that devastating night so long ago. But Paul is charming, kind, fun, and sexy. She begins to imagine a life outside of her personal quest. But this mission will put her and those she loves in danger. Kylie Stewart, and Eric Rolon continue to narrate this raw and emotional series. They made each character come alive, portraying their wounded souls to allow us to see them with empathy and understanding. They also brought out Paul and Joselyn's undeniable attraction and chemistry. I am really enjoying this series and can't wait to find out what happens next!

This book surprised me! What I thought was going to be a cute little read starting out at their childhood memories very quickly turned upside down! Joss is thrown through hell and back and rose out on top! It took Paul and his corky side to pull her out of a drought and show her not all guys are dicks! Love where this book leads to and how Kimberly keeps the charters all involved so you don’t forget who is who from one book to the next! Narration was spot on! Kylie does an awesome job at keeping you engaged!
