About this listen

The proposal was simple: Score a home run and take my virginity.

Except my proposal went to the wrong brother.

It was supposed to go to my best friend, but as fate would have it, it fell into the hands of his infuriatingly hot, irritatingly charming older brother.

Lane Collins is Orleans University's All-Star baseball captain. Cocky pitcher. Player on and off the field. The life of every party.

And the same guy I've crushed on in secret since we were kids.

He's always been out of my league. That is until he signs the dotted line on a proposal that wasn't meant for him and offers to teach me—everything.

The one and only condition? We walk away once everything's checked off.

Easier said than done when my heart is involved.

Now, it's a whole new ballgame.

✨ AUDIOBOOK REVIEW ✨

THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING!!!! I am normally not the biggest fan of college romances because they make me feel old. But not this one! Homerun Proposal was such a fun, sexy, swoony book. I totally fell for Lane Collins!!!! He was cocky, sweet, and knew EXACTLY what he was doing. Phew. He was everything you want in a MMC and one of my new forever book boyfriends. Don't forget the nickname Hallie Girl!? Perfection. I also loved Hallie's quirky, awkward personality. And when these two get together...fireworks. ALL. THE. FIREWORKS.

I listened on audio to this one and it was pretty good! When the male narrator does a female laugh, it bothered me a bit. But overall it flowed really well and was a great listen!

Hallie's accidental proposition to her best friend's brother, Lane Collins, about helping her lose her V card takes an unexpected turn when Lane reveals he is actually game. Mortified by her own boldness, Hallie has to decide if she can overcome her shyness to experience all her firsts with Lane.

✨Thoughts✨
While lacking in a complex plot, this story brims with charming and enjoyable moments. Hallie, an endearing and quirky fmc, perfectly complements Lane, a heartthrob in the world of baseball. Their interactions are actually adorable!

🎧The dual narration is great. Alex Kydd and Sarah McEwan bring youthful and vibrant voices to their respective characters, heightening the story.

Overall, if you're a fan of sweet sports romances with a whole lot of spice, this audiobook is a must-listen.

Wow. This book was so good! This was such a feel good romance with a killer audiobook! I felt Hallie Jo and Lane were so perfect for each other and it was giving the perfect opposites attract vibe. I’m also such a sucker for a virgin FMC 🤭 the whole “teach me” vibes were HOTT🥵 I love watching Hallie come into herself and find her confidence. I loved Lanes possessive nature while also being vulnerable was the perfect mix. I felt Sarah McEwan was the perfect Hallie Jo she really captured the whole innocent quirky vibe. Alex Kydd was a fantastic MMC narrator! He completely embodied the sexiness and confidence that was Lane Collins and it was HOTT!

The audio was great, and I really liked both narrators. So glad I’m into audiobooks now because it makes listening to books so much easier.

Great story line and good performances from the readers. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a little spice, but a better love story.

One of my all time favorite books. The main character is relatable and Lane Collins is epic book boyfriend material. I highly recommend this book - the audio makes it even better.

Lane FREAKING Collins

The male narrator totally ruined this for me. He took way too many liberties by adding in unscripted giggles, moans, scoffs, etc. If I’m not thinking about that little annoyance, the story was good enough. It was enjoyable but also forgettable. I didn’t really have too many strong feelings one way or another about the story or characters.

Horrible male narrator
