Four years later, Brody arrives in her small little town and wants a second chance but between the secrets that Magnolia is hiding, her three-year-old little girl and Robert wanting his second chance, everything is a tangled mess.

I enjoyed this story and am looking forward to the conclusion of it in Autumn Night Whiskey. Magnolia has gone through a lot and I truly felt for her and her little girl. I am voting for Brody as I am not a huge fan of Robert and there is something about him I just do not like. This was not my first story from Willow Winters and I am looking forward to diving into more of her books.

Audio: Sebastian York and Lidia Dornet did a good job of bringing the story to life and their voices worked well together as Brody and Magnolia. This was my first book with Lidia as a narrator and I enjoyed listening to her.

This was a cute and lighthearted listen in comparison  to her other books. Light on the romance, almost no steam (again, in comparison to her other books), and pretty clean save for some swearing. Till chapter 20 when it gets a bit spicey.
Ends on a cliffhanger.

Willow Winters wrote another amazing book. This book had secrets, lies, and love. Magnolia has had so much happen to her in her life that it only makes her stronger. She lives in a small town where everyone knows everyone. She went away to college and ends up meeting Brody and having a one night stand. Family issues causes her to return home abruptly.

Years later Brody ends up in the small town where Magnolia is from but he knows her by a different name 😉. The secrets and lies start to pile up on Magnolia. On one hand there is Robert, her childhood love and on the other hand is Brody whom she has this extreme connection to. The sparks between Brody and Magnolia is explosive!

I received this book as an ARC and I highly recommend reading. There is a cliffhanger and it leaves you wanting more. Who will Magnolia choose??

I enjoy Willow Winters’ writing, huge fan of Sebastian York. New to Lidia Dornet, I enjoyed her very much. Story was good, performers were good, I hate the book ending and I need to purchase another to hear the rest of the story. Why does it not state 1 of 2 or book 1 of series. It just feels deceitful. I’ve bought many series (many many ). But I appreciate the heads up if I don’t have time or budget to invest I can make a choice.

Be prepared to buy more if you like the book.

This book is an absolute must read. If you love small-town contemporary romance this is a perfect book for you. I am dying to read more about Magnolia and Brody. I was instantly addicted to them and I can’t wait to see where the story takes them. This is a semi-love triangle with Magnolia’s ex, Robert, who let me point out, I’m not a fan of at all. He seems so shifty, slimy, and up to no good. Magnolia and Brody are such a great couple and I can’t wait to see how things play out between the two of them. They are sweet, swoony, and have impeccable chemistry!

While reading my ARC I also was able to listen to the audiobook since it came out before the book was released. Sebastian York and Lidia Dornet are the narrators and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. I thoroughly enjoyed the audio for this book and I thought it made my reading experience even better.

I highly recommend this small town romance read. It’ll leave you breathless and wanting more!
