Heartfelt Goodness

Anika and Reed’s story was heartfelt. Not your typical HEA but the reality of so many peoples lives. I loved all the twist and turns and even how they let it be known grief makes people do some not so kind things even to the ones they love. I loved this series and can’t wait to read/ listen to more books by her.

Good story

One of my favorite authors. Liked story line a lot; very hard listening to this narrator.

So Complete

This storyline had more layers and a few twists that made it feel full and complete. Of course, it was also sensual and steamy. This book was complete

I like it, but nauseating at times

Delaney Diamond (and other erotic novella authors) construct stories with nauseatingly unnecessary complicated parts. In this case, Anika’s inability to have children and her response to Reed’s desire (bedroom conversation mind you) are incompatible.

How can you long, yearn, and need someone as badly as she did Reed only to decide to end it because of a conversation dealing with future children.

How, can someone (Anika) center her entire world around one person, to decide to dump him because he mentions a desire for more children and she can’t (or thinks she can’t) give that to him.

Rather then draw out unnecessary complications, force the conversation and ingest real conflict. Real and true conflict, justifiable enough to warrant the end of a fated relationship.

And! How can you decide (unilaterally) to end a relationship without discussing the issues with the person you’re supposedly “in love with”?

Ok

I really liked this book and would recommend this book. It had a great storyline and sexual storylines. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. I would would had given it five star if the author hadn't used God's name in vain. You don't have to use " GD " to have a great book. I liked how it told a story with a medical condition and not being able to have children. How one bad guy had did a bad number on her physic and a good guy lifted her up. Also, I liked how it touched on people using a child to get an ending they want and not what's best for the child. It dealt with death and single parenting a child.
