Publisher's summary

You’ve been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Now what?

Shrouded in mystery and hidden behind its symptoms, you might experience weight gain, cravings, irregular periods, and hair loss, whereas a fellow PCOS queen might suffer from regular headaches, bloating, and acne.

As a result, PCOS leaves you feeling self-conscious, anxious, and depleted of energy on a regular basis.

While one in every ten women of childbearing age is affected by PCOS, an ugly four-letter acronym that manifests itself differently from one cyster to the next, there are powerful strategies that can be applied to help manage it.

As a fellow cyster who has been navigating PCOS for over a decade, I want to save you the countless hours of research, the feelings of helplessness, and the worst of your symptoms by giving you a step-by-step formula that will shortcut your journey to managing it.

Here’s just a fraction of what you’ll discover inside the audiobook:

  • Holistic and natural ways to target your PCOS symptoms right away.
  • End-of-chapter exercises that help you take action now.
  • Better than Metformin: this alternative is dubbed the “Holy Grail of Supplements”--the one product every cyster should have in their home cabinet.
  • Why you should eliminate endocrine disrupting chemicals from your life.
  • How to support your menstrual cycle--foods to eat, workouts to do, and supplements to take.
  • How to determine your PCOS type--that’s right, there isn’t just one!
  • Hand-picked anti-inflammatory PCOS friendly recipes.

For every cyster who feels frustrated after leaving the doctor’s office…or was told to just “drink water and lose weight”, this audiobook is for you. The friend you’ve been waiting for. The guide to your success.

Great information!

This book is an excellent resource for what to do (and not do) – when dealing with PCOS. There are so many helpful tips and I LOVE the bonus recipes – I will be trying several this weekend! I love how the book addresses the internal symptoms and issues that I myself have overlooked, and I’m sure others have as well. This is a great listen with tons of helpful tips and information – highly recommend!

Truly Eye Opening

This was a really well written and thorough audiobook. Rather it's natural remedies or using the guides in the book that are useful for healthier, cleaner eating that should resolve many issues with gut health, IBS and other body/mental health issues. Kudos to the author, she left no stone unturned with this helpful tool to use as a meaningful resource.

I important information for those with PCOS.

I highly recommend this book on living with PCOS. There are only a handful of books about this highly misunderstood, silent ailment. and this is by far a.ong the best. The fact that the author has dealt with PCOS lends a sense of credibility and authority on the matter. It is very through, yet written in a easy to comprehend style. The author takes the listener through dietary advice and speaks to natural remedies. This is a book that gives a sense of hope to anyone suffering with PCOS. I highly recommend it!

An invaluable text for those affected by PCOS

The first thing that impressed me about this book is the amazing set of bonuses; invaluable information that the author is kind enough to make available to those who invest in the audiobook.

As someone who suffered from PCOS myself, I felt the author was telling my story. It is a confusing disease and one that made me feel insecure about my feminity. I wish I had this book in those early years. The lunch recipes in part III are particularly useful. The book comes alive with the author sharing her vulnerability – bringing a degree of authenticity that can come only from experience. This book is a wonderful resource for women who are experiencing PCOS symptoms, even if they haven’t been diagnosed.

Helps me be more empathic to those with PCOS

I love the end-of-chapter exercises that help you get started with better habits. I wrote down some essential ways to help my teenage daughter take better care of her skin and acne issues. I love the homemade skin remedies shared in this book. I have several people in my life with PCOS, and this book helped me understand them better. I loved all the meal ideas!! The end of the book is full of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert recipes!! Yummy and healthy. You'll love this book!

Very Helpful!

Extremely Valuable! As a functional nutrition practitioner, my objective is to help get the body in balance, so the body’s systems function optimally. My specialty is digestion, autoimmune, and weight loss. However, I admit that Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is not one of my specialties, however, I do have patients, mostly weight loss patients that have PCOS because it can contribute to weight gain.

I’m always looking to improve my knowledge and was happy I came across this book. There’s no doubt that there is something you can do about your condition, and you should because some of the repercussions such as infertility, weight gain, and diabetes may be around the corner if you don’t address it. Learn what you can do by reading this book.
