Publisher's summary

Radio and television host Glenn Beck has experienced the rollercoaster of life like few others. From the suicide of his mother when he was just 13, to his eventual alcoholism, depression, divorce, unemployment, and health scares - Glenn has weathered life’s darkest storms.

Any one of those struggles could’ve ruined him, yet Glenn was able to keep moving forward. He saw past the darkness into the light; past his grief and addictions and into what his life could be.

YOU CAN DO IT TOO

The process of finding happiness through personal redemption was not easy, but it left Glenn with a blueprint for how to confront future adversity. Glenn is living proof that these steps - he calls them wonders - don’t just work on paper. They helped transform his life and can they can help to transform yours as well.

The 7 Wonders

Glenn Beck and Dr. Keith Ablow—two of the most popular and influential personalities in American media today—have joined forces to present a powerful guide to personal transformation and fulfillment that is as unique as their own unlikely partnership. They are called the “7 Wonders” and they can be used by anyone who has made the decision that they are ready to change their life.

After the television talk show host and the best-selling psychiatrist struck up a fast friendship they realized that their experiences with life’s struggles were complementary. What Keith had studied, Glenn had lived. What Keith had counseled patients on for years, Glenn had suffered through for decades.

The deeply personal insights they shared brought them to realize that their life stories had seven key principles in common; seven wonders that seemed to be essential ingredients for anyone attempting to transform their life.

Powerful and Uplifting

This book is extremely powerful especially if you have hit rock bottom. This is not the Glenn Beck of radio and tv. This is a very serious and contrite individual.

New words for old truths!

What made the experience of listening to The 7 the most enjoyable?

Listening to this book was both pleasure and pain. I believe there is no growth with out both. I grew while listening and I will listen to it again and again to help me master these life guidelines.

What did you like best about this story?

I like the real life comparisons in this book. They made it easy to see where I could relate this to my life.

What about Pat Gray and Brian Sack ’s performance did you like?

Being a Glen Beck radio listener, Pats voice is familiar and that made it feel like the stories were coming from a friend. Dr. Sack is so confident and sure that these things will change your life if you are true to them. You can just hear it in his voice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Very much both! I could not even listen with my children in the car! They are young and I could not explain...

Very interesting

What made the experience of listening to The 7 the most enjoyable?

I really liked hearing about Glenn Beck's life experiences, especially related to the LDS church. His candid stories were human and easy to relate to. The "Dr" excerpts in between were ok, but were like elementary lectures...I took them as a 'reminder' of the principles they were trying to communicate. I did enjoy listening.

What did you like best about this story?

Glenn Beck's stories

What about Pat Gray and Brian Sack ’s performance did you like?

They were great

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

In all my life...

Where does The 7 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Number 1

What other book might you compare The 7 to and why?

There are no other books that I have listened to that compare. The format was great, Having Glenn and Keith have their companion parts.

Which character – as performed by Pat Gray and Brian Sack – was your favorite?

Both were wonderful. How can one pick a favorite? Without the other the book is half complete.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

To believe in ones self. To listen to your mind, heart and gut. The book was very motivational. It made me think of the decisions I made in the past and how to strive to be a better person for me.

Any additional comments?

...I have never read (or in this case heard) a book that made me want to start the book again right after I finished it the very first time. I was so interested in what the message was behind the book that I wanted to make sure I didn't forget anything or just want to hear again such inspiring words. I am so happy that Glenn Beck and Keith Ablow wrote this book. Something they were destined to do. Having Pat Gray read Glenn's part and Brian Sack read Keith's part was great as both did the audiobook justice. As I said in all my life I have never read a book that made me want to start the book again. I'm sure just like Glenn's book The Christmas Sweater" that I listen to once a year I will revisit the The 7 time and time again. Thank you Mr. Beck and Mr. Ablow for this book.

What a book!

A brave and honest book. Inspiring. I have never seen or heard Glen Beck but I deeply respect him for having produced this book. Think I just might turn on FOX and tune in.
