Very interesting story and I was especially happy it delved into the time period of when Cap was frozen. I can add the narrator to my small list of favorites!

Entertaining

This story felt like a good two parter wrapped up into one. I enjoyed it and felt it was one of the better Marvel audiobooks that I've listened to thus far. The cast of characters takes on some interesting challenges and meet some colorful characters on this journey. It felt nice to listen to an older telling of the Marvel heroes and made them feel a bit more grounded.

Two for the price of one!

Definitely decent but nothing to write home about. I thought it ended rather quickly and most of the book they don't even know it's Kang they are even fighting! But some day donw the road I may listen to it again.

Decent

I'll start off by saying that this book really does feel like two books in one. The first half focuses on one antagonist, and the second focuses on the titular character. This was a very solid group of Avengers, with most of the classics you would come to expect. I felt like everyone is very much properly characterized.

Without spoiling anything, the ultimate resolution to the story was pretty surprising, and came from a character I didn't really expect.

My only real complaint was that they didn't bother to update certain references to a particular group of people. It was written over 40 years ago and it was noticeable.

Aside from that, Great book! You won't be disappointed.

Great Avengers Adventure

Not a bad story, but I do have some basic issues with it. They really wasted beast here and time travels to a tricky story to tell as everything has implications for changing the timeline. Kind of treated haphazardly here.

The narrator mispronounce is quite a few words which can be a little irritating, but overall it’s not bad

Not bad - not great.

it's a great story especially when kang enters it. the comics are way better than the mcu for sure.

kang is the conqueror here

Good story — but a bit misleading as the majority of the book was a “lead up” to Kang — who only appears in the back 1/3 of the listen.

Scenic Route

Sometimes the comics are pretty and there isn't a lot of story. This felt like the audio was professional but the story was weak and a little repetitive. It is not a bad story, but it is very light (super heroes battling dinosaurs a few times). Maybe the fight scenes were supposed to just be funny and I took them wrong. I found them to lean toward unimaginative; it is also possible that when drawn and painted on paper the battles seemed more original than they did in my imagination listening to the audio book. All in all this was good, but predictable.

Strong Performance - Not the Best Story

Honestly, disappointed. Lazy writing, bad humor, bad storytelling. Not sure what they were trying to go for heater.

What a convoluted mess
