About this listen

Everyone in Bell Harbor thinks career-minded plastic surgeon Evelyn Rhoades needs a husband. Everyone, that is, except for Evelyn…sort of. Even if she did want a husband (which she doesn’t…most of the time), she’d never let something as intangible as fate determine who she marries. No, if she’s going to find someone to spend her life with, she’ll do it scientifically: With a carefully crafted list of criteria and an Internet dating site.

But when intoxicated, law-breaking Tyler Connelly crashes into her life by way of a stolen Jet Ski, unruly emotions defy common sense. Sure, he’s sexy, charming, and determined to win Evelyn’s affection, but all evidence points to him being the worst possible choice. He’s too young for her. Too irresponsible. Too underemployed. And, oh yeah, he’s her patient.

But Tyler knows firsthand how the best-laid plans can crumble under the weight of destiny. Now all he needs to do is to teach Evelyn that, in matters of the heart, love often supersedes logic.

I love this book.

I love Tracy Brogan's sense of humor and I especially enjoy Evie (the leading lady). She's very career oriented and has goals for her life, but as we know life does not always go as planned. Having lead a rather sheltered life, Evie might not see the humor in the world around her the characters in her life will make you giggle-snort, especially because these people are all around us.
I think Amy McFadden's narration is excellent!

If you like a really light romantic read go for it

The narrator's rapid fire performance is very annoying and spoiled the story which was cute and well written but predictable.

Cute Small Town Romance 💙🩺🚤♥️

I really enjoyed this story of figuring out what is important. Evie is a successful doctor looking to finally settle down and find the right man. Tyler is younger, and not the kind of man she thinks she wants. Until she gets to know him.

There are so many things more important than money and prestige, and as Evie and Tyler navigate their relationship, both of them determine what is most important in their lives.

The characters from Bell Harbor are incredibly entertaining and I really enjoyed revisiting this town. This is a good series.

The narrator does a good job. She is believable as Dr Evelyn Rhoades.

The Best Medicine _Perfect title

Lots of meaning gestures to the readers own heart... from life experiences of any age and type. I found hope, good medicine to remember in my own life if given the chance to put it to use. 8)
I hope it brings the same warm gestures or medicine to others too.

Feel good story

For years, everybody has been comfortable with me and being older than women. It’s about time we get comfortable with men being younger than women. I loved the story. I loved the vulnerability of the characters.

Humorous. I like it.

This book makes me laugh a lot, but the ending is too rush. I like this book and will recommend to my friend.
