About this listen

Rhea Jackson had always enjoyed working as personal assistant to billionaire Barrett Mahoney, but it was always business rather than pleasure with a man who came across as being very, very serious.

All this changed when Barrett found himself without a date for a business function and with no one else to turn to, he asked Rhea if she would be his "plus one" for the night.

It was at this function that Rhea saw a different side to the billionaire, and it soon became apparent that he might soon be her "plus one" in more ways than one….

Great story, especially enjoyed as told by Thomas Hogan. The narration had me into the story throughout it's entirety. Hope to find more books narrated by Mr. Hogan.

Outstanding!

Several of my friends and I went on a girl's trip, and we decided to buy this audiobook for the road. This story kept us entertained for the 3 hour trip. We loved the characters and plot, and keep referencing parts of the book throughout our trip!

This was the first time I have ever actually listened to an audiobook, and I loved it! This particular narrator had a wonderfully calming and intriguing voice (plus it was kinda sexy.) It definitely added to this story!

Very nice!!

Loved the story but when the narrator changed his voice to sound female for Rhea it made me cringe. I hate it when male narrators feel the need make the female characters sound “female”. It took away from the story and took me longer to read. I almost didn’t finish it.

Ugh the narrator!

I'm all for the books being read to me but I could do without the voice impersonations. It throws me off a bit. Other than that the story was great and well written. I enjoyed it.

Story Telling

Rhea Jackson was caught in a dilemma. Does she date her boss or her boss' nemesis, Carter Burke? Carter had some tells in the beginning of the story from Rhea's first date with him. His relationship with her caused her to react uncharacteristically. But, she picked the right one in the end.

The was an okay story. I did not relate to how Rhea handled her relationship with two men, but this is how fiction stories grab your attention. I would not have done what she did. But she made up for it in the end.

The narrator Thomas Hogan has a beautiful voice but, I did not like how he portraited Rhea or any other feminine voice. In my opinion, he overdid it. His voice is just too heavy to portray a feminine one.

Rhea's decision!

It was ok, but I thought it would be more action and romance. But I was wrong. Narrated by Thomas Hogan was terrible!!! The female
voice was terrible!!! Worst !!!! thumbs down on this one 👎👎👎
