About this listen

It's true what they say, opposites do attract....

Melody definitely wasn't looking for romance at the club that night, but things suddenly changed when a mysterious stranger with his charming words and chiseled physique made her stomach go into butterflies - she couldn't help but be attracted to him.

After a red hot passionate night together, Melody didn't seem to think she'd she this handsome man again. But soon she discovers that he will be a big part of her life...forever.

Melody has no idea who this hot man really is.

Little did she know he was the famous alpha billionaire playboy, Leo Cipriani, and in order to find true love, he decides to go out and keep his billionaire status a secret.

After just one night, meeting the strong, independent Melody, he realizes she could be the one.

That's right until she claims she is pregnant with Leo's child.

Will their relationship be more than just a hot one night fling? Will Leo take responsibility for the "little one" on the way?

Lots of gaps very annoying to miss chunks of dialogue even though you can guess the missing dialogue it made the story choppy

The storyline could have been great. It was presented in the most simplistic way possible. The narrator's speech pattern is very stilted.

ok?

The story was okay I wish it was longer and something about the men sound like the woman and the women sound like the man on the things they want in life career driving.

It was Okay

Both stories are so boring. I think the story could have had tweaked starting with the details of their inner thoughts & the characters day to day living, along with a detailed checklist on how they met & ended up in the same place at the same time. I was curious about the backgrounds of each character, to me that would answer the opponent's decisive motives. This book was more for juveniles, because the characters plan for living present & future are immature & displays sexism.

I found the main charcters' attitude too relaxed on their use of contraceptives & their reference to abortion as a means of contraception very sexist. The women I've met through out the years, tell me they had abortions in the 20's, but regreted having them, by age 35- 40 & up. I listened to both books and the attitude of abortion was the same.

Very juvenile, not impressed.

I really like the fact that the Black character was neither a gold digger, nor from the ghetto. The characters were well developed. The story was pretty elementary and there's no sex scenes.

I didn't enjoy it

I liked the characters. I believe that the morale of the story could have been not to judge a book by its cover or believe some of what you see and none of what you hear, which was the case with Leo.
I never heard of a non-black being named Ebony like Leo's sister, who had a real problem.
I would recommend this book to young adults.

Don't judge

The stories could have been longer, Needed more twist and turns it was too straight to the point.

too short

This story is an adult type story told through a teenager’s experience. The narrator could never “grasp” my attention enough to finish the story or even a chapter...

Oh no!

The story line was okay. the premise. however, the writing was so disjointed and did not have a clean flow to it. I was really dissatisfied and disappointed in the book. I am glad I can get my credit back for it.

This was not enjoyable at all.
