On August first of this year, I lost my mind.

Months later I was diagnosed as bipolar. This is the story of my trip down to rock bottom and my attempt to stand back up.

Sorry Greg Nelson

It's kinda crazy and jumps around a lot, which makes sense because its about bipolars.

Amazing view of mental health

Very rarely does one get a good look into the life of someone else, especially not when that person has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. This story is one that many people would struggle to share, but hearing the honesty and struggle is something we can all learn from. A reminder we are all human, we all feel pain and discomfort and that is is okay to ask for help.

Maybe better in print?

I can't tell whether it was the narrator that irked me, or the flagrant repetition and simple sentences of this book (or any combination of the two). Either way, not worth the 1.5 hours. I felt that I may have liked it more if I had just read it myself, but I'm not willing to give it another shot at this point.

The narrator was monotone and had no sense of pace or rhythm when reading - sometimes it was hard to tell when the author was being funny (he had some good lines!) Or where one sentence ended and another began. . .
