Self knowledge & application

The last few chapters helped me to realize I was just as wrong about my 7 siblings as both sisters were misguided about each other. They also helped me to realize how my son feels (as an only child) about the children I had in my home daycare. It goes to prove we’re never too old to learn or change. Though we may show our children love & provision, they need to HEAR “I love you” several times a day no matter how old they are. Thank you for yielding to Gods will to write this book‼️😃🎶

How attitude affected lives

Am glad she was able to admit her attitudes were not based on God's truth but we're keeping her from gratitude and joy

Bluebird and the Sparrow

Interesting story of a sister's image of herself in comparison to her younger sister and in her relationship to God

Attitude

It was very hard to endure the older sister’s attitude, and I almost stopped reading, but the book has great benefit and insight if you can just hang on until the end.

Love Janette Oke stories. Didn’t care much for main character but shows how you can change.

Always a Blessing

I listen to Janette Oke books most often when I walk. Entertaining and the Spiritual truths have many times especially spoken into a confusing circumstance in my life. The story of Berta, her personal story and growth was a blessing and gave perspective and understanding for my own life.

extremely tedious

it would have been a great struggle to have finished it, & I didn't. It took the author way too long to say anything and the narrator talked so slow it took even longer.

Love J Okes faith messages but had a hard time getting past the negative, victim mentality that took up so much of this book.

I love Jeanettes characters and faith messages but the main character in this book took too much selfish negativity into almost the entirety of the book.
