About this listen

One New York borough (okay two boroughs). Four book boyfriends to fall in love with. Four full-length standalone novels with crossover characters that appear together in The Plus Ones. Bonus epilogues for all four novels that can only be found in this collection.

This collection includes: Rebound with Me (bonus epilogue and 5000 words longer than the original 2018 version), Come Back to Bed (bonus duet-style epilogue), Tonight You’re Mine (bonus epilogue) and The Plus Ones (bonus duet-style epilogue).

Rebound with Me
*Vince and Nina*

A man and a woman whose exes are now dating each other. One awesome bad idea. One hot summer fling that just might be the real thing.

Come Back to Bed
*Matt and Bernadette*

Two neighbors. Nothing in common except a wall and a dog. No strings. No problem!

Tonight You’re Mine
*Chase and Aimee*

Just the two of them. Just for one night. Except that tomorrow they’ll have to start working together, and his business partner likes her too…

The Plus Ones
*Keaton and Roxy*

One Caribbean couples-only resort. Reservations for six friends who want to escape Brooklyn in the dead of winter. Two married couples. Two fakers who hate each other’s freaking guts.

Fun listen!

I loved every single one of these stories in this collection. I can never not laugh listening to one of Kayley’s books. I love the quirky characters, how fun and steamy they are. Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie Cartwight are amazing and sound great together in this collection. If you are looking for low angst and a good time this collection is for you.

4 super cute listens for 1 credit!

I really enjoyed this series, especially how the author had the couples being friends towards the end. Reminds me a lot of my own life and how we’ve created our own little family made up of close friends since we live away from blood relatives. I also appreciated that the stories weren’t super formulaic like you can get in contemporary romance. Definitely worth a listen!

Fabulous Romance Series

Roxton forever!!!! I have loved each book of the Brooklyn Book Boyfriends series. The Plus Ones is my favorite of the collection. Roxy and Keaton are scorching hot in the frenemies-to-lovers romcom. I love Kayley’s lighthearted, hilarious, unique storytelling. This big group of friends & found family have been so much fun! Roxy & Keaton are the best!

Teddy Hamilton & MacKenzie Cartwright are marvelous in this series! Teddy & MacKenzie are two of my favorite narrator and they make a fantastic duo. Their energies, pacing, characterizations, and awesomeness pair together beautifully. Teddy brings the heroes off the page with funny, charming, and swoon-worthy performances. MacKenzie is as beguiling as ever in this series.

ugh - just sad, sad.
the H is a good guy. he works way harder for her than she deserves. she gives him nothing back. heroine is a mean, terrible person. she wrecked this story. I felt bad for the H. DNF I shut this off with a couple hours left and I shut it off mad.

Perfection!

From the written words by Kayley Loring to the spoken words by MacKenzie Cartwright and Teddy Hamilton, this collection of books is sheer perfection. The storylines, the characters, the circumstances, the emotional nuances all come together to create the ultimate package for this group of friends. The writing is superb and the narration is flawless.

You've just found your weekend binge

These are four of Ms. Loring's earlier works, 2018-19, which coincidentally happens to be when I started reading her. It's interesting to see how her creativity has evolved over the years. I still enjoy reading/listening to her older stuff. These books were written to be read, not performed so don't expect full cast performances. They are dual POV and the narration is good. This is not an entirely cohesive set—the stories share characters but their themes run the gamut from complex to unusual to light rom/com tropes. Typically they include really fun side characters and pop culture references, and each book gets a cute bonus epilogue written just for this set.

Loved the stories and the narrators

I love the writing. It’s laugh out loud funny and sweet. I loved all of the characters although the dinner part in Bernadette and Matt’s story is still my favorite. I know I will revisit these stories again when I want to feel good.

Cute stories

Romance is my genre. Lately I’ve been getting tired of all the long detailed sex scenes. I thought this book had the perfect amount of sex. Each coupe was lovable and real. I recommend these stories!.
