Publisher's summary

What the world dreads most has already happened. Now, there is only survival. In her dystopian and post-apocalyptic bestselling novel, The China Pandemic, A. R. Shaw created a realistic world after a much too plausible pandemic event. Now, the remaining must not only survive but thrive or risk complete extinction. The story moves forward with...

The Cascade Preppers, Graham is back in book two of the Graham's Resolution series. In the tiny town of Cascade, Washington, the members of Graham's camp endure a severe winter season. Meanwhile, The Prepper community remains dedicated to isolation and maintains their benevolent relationship. Tensions rise when tragedy strikes. The human traits of community and compassion are pitted against instincts to survive. Will they be doomed by their own efforts to coexist? Listen to the ongoing saga of Graham's Resolution, Book 2, The Cascade Preppers, for the startling revelation.

Solid 3.5

The good. The story and the narrator is good and getting better. The bad. The story is to short and the editing is subpar with about 5 or 6 repeated sentences and a lot of loud swallowing sounds from the narrator left in the mix

Great story, choppy narration.

Book One did not have the choppy narration like this one. Somewhat distracting. I'll still be getting the next one in the series!

a good sequel in a very interesting series

After listening to Book 1, I immediately listened to book 2. This is a great series, but the books are a bit too short. The characters are reasonably well developed and the story is a good one. I have just started listening to Book 3 and like it as much as the earlier volumes.

Just what I needed

As the world of today goes through it’s own pandemic and I’m feeling hopeless, this book definitely helped me to feel a little more at peace. Maybe everyone CAN just get along! My only wish (and really this is my own fault) is that there was a LITTLE bit of a recap of who everyone is/was. It’s been a few years once I read the first book in this series and really I should have reread it. You can certainly read this book without the recap but for the life of me it took me the entire book to remember a couple of people and where they fit in.

The writing is good, the audio performance is excellent and the story grabs you and pulls you in. Already downloading book 3 as I type.

Great series

I only recently discovered this series. But, already, Shae has written more about the emotional toll of catastrophe and survival than most of the other current post-apocalyptic novels I have read combined.

This is a really good series that has the potential to be a long-running one.

I have to say that the narration is not very impressive in this book. The narrator did a very poor editing job and there are many glaringly obvious errors Within. He has potential so I hope his work improves.

Disappointed by swearing starting half way through

This episode had a lot of excitement and action. The author introduces us to new characters and older characters are developed more fully. The swearing suddenly added to the text half way was unexpected and unnecessary. I am so disappointed. This could have been a 5 star book.
