When a funny turn of events brings a parrot to the ranch, Hank is not worried. After all, what harm can one copycat bird do? So he decides to go about his business. Can't believe this!Just as good as the Halloween Ghost tape, laugh all the way through "Oh, Polly want a shotgun."For once Sally May got mad at her precious kitty,********and as Hank says it,"airmailed the little jerk.Talk about fun,parrot says in Loper's voice,"Hank,git up here and bark at the moon. When Hank does, "shut up u fool dog."

Yes, we were traveling over a thousand miles and needed something besides XM radio.

I’ve loved the Hank The Cowdog book series since I was around 11 or 12. I’ve read almost all the books, but this is my first time listening to the audio version. Love that Erickson does the narration, and how he does different voices for each character.

I would highly recommend this series to anyone, young or old. I’ve never read one of the books where I didn’t laugh so much at different things. Hank is like the Barney Fife of “head of ranch security” dogs.
