I really enjoyed the story it was heart warming. I loved how it brought a family members that were going there own ways and in the end came together. I enjoyed it so much that I was sorry it had to end.

I would recommend this story because it provides an unique view inside a family and their unique celebration of Christmas and looking forward.

The ending was very satisfying.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I thought that the narrator was excellent. She captured the tone of the book and its characters.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

If this book were a movie, I wouldn't go to see it because I generally prefer more folksy stories. However, this was an excellent story.

Any additional comments?

This book had interesting characters, a plot that I couldn't predict, and a big event that made Christmas special for the family. It was a different kind of Christmas story and I'm really glad that I read it.

It is right up there. I like many types of books. This one is a great to just sit back and enjoy with a cup of tea.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Christmas Wedding?

When she finally decided who the groom was going to be.

They all were my favorite. The book would not have been as good if even one character was left out

If you could take any character from The Christmas Wedding out to dinner, who would it be and why?

none. Again I feel that the story needed all characters.

The story was very predictable so it was somewhat boring. Character development was okay and of course the characters did what you expected them to do.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Something with more suspense in it.

The narrators had more of a sing song voice, not what I enjoy

Some may like it. I didn't feel it stood up to the description of the book.

Somewhat boring

I only now came across this book. Perhaps it’s just as well as having lived a lot of life I can appreciate the many, many truths of this story and know how un fabricated the story lines are. Though not a Christmas rom-com but rather a well written story taking place over Christmas. it is real and it is hard and it is wonderful. No trumped up drama, no drama that drags on. It’s family, it’s life choices, it’s adjusting to new normals and seeing new possibilities. It’s being brave and determined and open. It’s realizing that though different from how originally expected - hope and happiness can be recaptured.
