About this listen

Trouble in the hills...

Determined to reverse the evil of his dragon arm, Nath Dragon ventures deep into the Shale Hills with Brenwar the Dwarf in an attempt to rescue more dragons. But those treacherous hills hide troubles he's never imagined.

Against their will, Nath and Brenwar are forced to retrieve a powerful artifact from an ancient graveyard. And where there are graveyards there is death, chaos and destruction.

Meanwhile, the most notorious dragon hunters of all, The Clerics of Barnabus, begin their plot to take Nath Dragon down.

With enemies cropping up around every corner, can Nath Dragon survive without killing? Can he outwit the goblins, ghouls and other monstrous things? Will the guardian on the mountain be more than he bargained for? How many dragons must he save, anyway?

There's only one way to find out...Listen!

Good plot line. I found it hard to believe Noth couldn't keep his eyes on the ball, sucomming to far too many distractions. I look forward to reading future episodes to see Noth's quest completed.

Intriguing and full of twists and turns!

Nath is the scion of a dragon trying to atone for having given into bloodlust by rescuing dragons from those who hunt them. He’s mostly human (except for one arm) and has to be careful about aggressively killing people while he goes about his work. It’s an interesting problem that doesn’t stop him from getting into a lot of fights

Nath is an enjoyable hero. His heart is in the right place but he’s so rash that he gets himself into a lot of crazy situations. I’ll read the next novel.

My 14 year old son listened to this one and liked it but did say that the story wasn't quite as good as the first book. This one was quite a bit longer at just over 5 hours but it felt like the author was trying to stretch the story out but the humor that was added made up for it. These are great for kids into D&D, fantasy and adventure. There is no bad language, overly graphic violence or any romance scenes. Overall he really enjoyed it and is on to book three. I would say these are for the tween to teen reader.

More humor in this one
