About this listen

Autumn in Blossom Valley means pumpkin patches are ripe and Winona Mae Montgomery and her Granny Smythe's cider shop is flourishing. But with this season comes...

A fatal harvest.

The Fall Festival is in full swing. Civil War reenactors from three counties are partaking in Blossom Valley's tribute to John Brown. Blue Ridge Mountain foliage is in full bloom. And best of all is Jacob Potter's pumpkin farm where his hay rides, piglet races, pumpkin picking, and corn maze are time-honored draws for locals and tourists alike. That's why it's such a shock when Mr. Potter is found dead, hidden under a tarp in the back of Winnie's pickup truck. This certainly betrays Potter's reputation as one of the town's most popular citizens. Fortunately, when it comes to solving a murder, no one has a patch on Winnie. Now, all eyes are on her to do it. Unfortunately, that includes those of the killer who'll do anything to keep an orchard full of secrets buried.

Delightful

I loved this book! The story flowed perfectly and I have enjoyed the characters and setting since the first book in the series. The only big down point to the boom is that it’s the last book and I have unanswered questions such a bummer but definitely is a must

Sad there are no more

I really like Winnie and Colton and though it seems like most of the storylines are tied up, I wish there were more in the series.
There's so much more that we could share with them. So much potential.
I guess I will be happy it ended the way it did.
Julie Anne Lindsey is a fabulous cozy author and I will just go reread some of her other books.

I enjoy this series, there's mystery, romance, yummy sounding food , great sounding cider . I laughed at the fainting goat , the goose who would chase only Winny .The narrated was excellent at pulling a person into the story. I really enjoyed all of it and the other books in this series.

Another Good One!

Another enjoyable book in this series! Somehow, Winnie is always involved in finding the murdered person. So, of course, she has to keep snooping to try to find answers. And Colton wants her to stop. We get to meet some of Colton's family and we learn more about him. Some of the recipes sound so good, I wish they were included!

Entertaining Mystery

I was happy to find I enjoyed this book just as much if not more than the first one. I had a great time following Winnie around again as she tried to solve the murder of Mr. Potter a local pumpkin farmer. I was also happy to see Winnie and Colton making great strides in their relationship. Overall, it is a great book, and I had fun reading it!

(I also just found out the author is no longer going to be writing this series which is a bummer I will try to check out her other series and see if any of those tickle my fancy.)
