About this listen

The war America cannot afford to lose....

Off the shore of Costa Rica, the Navy command ship USS Coronado launches an all-out assault against one of the most powerful drug lords in Central America. The strike force is in position; the Blackhawks are armed and airborne, and the high-tech fist of the US military is poised to come down like a sledgehammer. Everything is going according to plan until the quiet jungle erupts in a chaos of blood, shrapnel, and fire.

When CIA operative Rick Holden and Naval Intelligence Officer Laura Peters begin investigating the circumstances of the ambush, they uncover something much more sinister than a failed military operation. There's a conspiracy at the very heart of the American government.

And bringing down the President of the United States is only the first step....

Nailed It!

Galdorisi does it yet again. More technically accurate than Clancy, George's years of service give him insights those who have never been to sea lack. Bravo Zulu, George, and ring-a-ding-ding classmate.

Outstanding Read

This was a fascinating and unique military/Navy story from beginning to end. I’ve read all of Clancy, Flynn, Greaney, Jack Carr and more. Hoping this author has more up
his sleeve.

Good story...

...but the monotone of the narrator - although that may just be his style, or his requested temperament - often had me in a dream state.

Good Drama: improbable plot

It was a great listen. It couldn’t really happen as written. Give credit to those who serve. There’s a requirement and responsibility to NOT execute orders unlawful.

Remarkable knowledge of military operations

Kinda kong and initially confusing with many characters being introduced and where they fit in; so I reread it as necessary because I was engaged and enjoyed a great story that at times was incredibly exciting.

Great read

Exciting, creative story with no dull, filler. Excellent narration without being over-the-top. Likewise as to sexual attraction between two main characters. Came across as natural fit within story and not gratuitous.
