About this listen

When the sun sets and darkness consumes the bayous of Southern Louisiana, a world comes alive that can neither be confined nor adequately described. It’s a place of ancient magic, filled with the music and laughter of a people who spend their lives in self-imposed isolation, cut off from the rest of the world and its trappings of modernity.

Time passes with the slow progression of the moon across the sky, and ancient spirits whisp their way through Spanish moss and across the mist of waters infested with predators from another era. The alligators and snakes may believe themselves to be the deadliest creatures in their flooded kingdom, but the creatures’ violent reign in the wetlands pales when compared to the evil of greed and deception the most dangerous creature on Earth brings to the swamp.

Chase Fulton and his team of covert tactical operators have faced darkness and stood toe to toe with unspeakable evil in every corner of the world, but they’ve never drawn their swords against an enemy whose tentacles were so deeply laced throughout modern civilization, as the foe they must defeat in the watery realm that time seems to have forgotten.

Join Chase and his unstoppable team of operators as they battle a new enemy unlike any they’ve faced before. Feel the heart-pounding action and taste the fire the team unleashes to restore and protect the people who want nothing more than to live their lives the way they have for centuries. There’s never been a chase like The Creole Chase.

The storytelling, of course.

Cap Daniels and his staff have done it again. Yes again. I could not put this bad boy down once I started it. Did you continuous patriotism of this organization is astounding. Yes there are real people like this in our world who are saving our freedom each day. And I’m glad that they are there. As a raised Cajun from the great state of Louisiana, I had to laugh at the continuous effort of the accent. Unless you have lived it your entire life you’re never gonna get it right. However, great applause to your effort. See you next time gang.

Book Review: The Creole Chase by Cap Daniels

Set deep in the evocative and perilous bayous of Louisiana, The Creole Chase by Cap Daniels delivers another heart-pounding thriller that grips you from the opening chapter and doesn’t let go. With his signature mix of tactical precision, environmental intrigue, and sharp characters, Cap Daniels takes readers on a murky journey through swampy waters, corporate deceit, and military-grade action.

The story follows Chase and his team as they navigate the gruesome mystery of human body parts discovered in the bayou—parts that even the alligators refuse to touch. This disturbing anomaly becomes the thread that unravels a larger conspiracy involving a treacherous oil exploration company, whose greed puts lives and ecosystems at risk.

One standout moment in the book—and a personal favorite—was the high-stakes operation to sling-load a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) under a helicopter. The realism and intensity of the scene brought back vivid memories of my own time in the 101st Airborne Air Assault Division at Ft. Campbell.

The Creole Chase is more than just a thriller; it’s a tribute to teamwork, grit, and the beauty and danger of the Louisiana Bayou. It’s the kind of book you don’t want to put down—and when you do, you’re still haunted by the murky water, the scent of the swamp, and the thump of rotor blades overhead.

Highly recommended for fans of military thrillers, environmental mysteries, or anyone who loves a smart, fast-moving story with heart and horsepower.
