About this listen

Number-One Best Seller in the Entire Kindle Store

Number Nine on Amazon Charts

I spent most of my life feeling dead inside—until I met Peter Pan and the Lost Boys.

It wasn't until Pan and Neverland that I finally felt alive.

But things are not all full of magic and sunlight on the island. There's something darker and more sinister haunting the forest.

And worse, the fae queen and Captain Hook are ready to fight for control of Neverland and they will stop at nothing to get what they want.

War is brewing—can the Never King get his shadow back and assume his rightful throne? And if he does, where will I fit?

Or will all of Neverland be in jeopardy right along with my dark, twisted heart?

NOTE: The Dark One is book two in the Vicious Lost Boys series. It is a dark reimagining of Peter and Wendy. If you like your enemies-to-lovers romance with hot, ruthless, morally gray love interests, you’ll enjoy The Dark One. You can expect an island with darkness and secrets and no true hero in sight, with a found family atmosphere, and "touch her and I’ll unalive you" vibes. The Dark One ends on a cliff-hanger.

Oh goodness so good.

loved everything about it from the storyline, lore, the voice actors and ofcourse the spiciness. Highly recommend for a new twist on an old tale.

the definition of raunchy po*n

I love the evil twist to the Peter pan story, but... the fact that all the girls are barely 18 and are experimenting in really sadistic sexual acts has my mama heart hurting.

otherwise, I like the new rendition

wow 😲

This is a great audio book, but it is the second book in the series so be sure to get book one first. The narrators are awesome and they pull you into the story.

Excellent cliff hanger

Another fun tale in Neverland. Winnie, finally claims all her boys and it's so so deliciously fun and hot! The plot continues on with the search for Pan's shadow. As soon as one plot point ends with the shadows a brand new one pops up right at the end. I can't wait to find out where this will go in book 3.

1st time in a very long time I’ve stuck to a series…

I love a lot of books but lately I’ve been in a weird mood & not liking some books enough to continue the series so stopped listening to “series” for awhile. I’m moving on to the next right now. Have listened to this series back to back. It has just the right amount of…. Everything!

Noticing some plot holes ****SPOILERS****

STOP READING NOW IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILERS:
So the very beginning of the book states that the Darling daughters are taken the night of their 18th birthday. I’m confused how Mary had Winnie at age 19 if she was pregnant with her while in Neverland at the time of her 18th birthday? That’s a small little thing I noticed BUT also extremely confused how Wendy can be Winnie’s great great grandmother if she never went home aka couldn’t reproduce????? Like if she never went home wouldn’t that be the end of the line???? BIG plot hole to me. I still love the story so far but seeing as Wendy being in Everland might be a big deal in the next book or so, I’m worried I’m not going to enjoy the story.

Vane Vane Vane

I don't know what it is exactly, but I'm seriously digging this writing style. It's great with the outsider POVs and the imagery is deep without taking over several pages. I'm staying in the story and enjoying every second!
