Publisher's summary

Get over my best friend's brother. Remember that I'm over him. Prove I can date other people. It should be easy. It's not.

Setting up a dating website with the guy I've been in love with since I was five wasn't my smartest idea. Especially since he's my best friend's brother - thankfully, she's okay with the fact I'm pulling a Sandy, and I'm hopelessly devoted to him. Which is why it's time to get over him.

So I do something crazy and ask Dominic Austin to find me a date. He does - if I find him one, too. Since we own Stupid Cupid, it should be easy, right? And it is. My date is perfect. His date is perfect. Everything is perfect. Until he kisses me....

Three dates. One kiss. And a big-ass mess....

Contains mature themes.

Listen at 2X

This book sounds normal at 2X, I couldn’t do this at 1 without losing my mind. Cute story and shortens it to where it’s digestible.

Now I don't like Payton anymore

I mean Payton is the best friend and sister of the man characters and she and only she knows from the beginning that Dom and Chloe love each other and still is like : "yeah you guys find someone else" because? No reason? Nobody wouldn't tell them. Seriously

Skipped ahead

Not a DNF, but I admittedly skipped a few chapters. I found the couples brand of bickering tiresome after a bit. The FMC asks “why” more than my kids did as toddlers, and I found her unnecessarily combative. This one was “just okay” for me.

Didn’t like the narrative

Story was good as I have listened to the others. But I did not like the narrators at all. No chemistry.

Do not waste a credit on this

It was all terrible. The male narrator was ok but the female’s voice was awful, the characters we’re supposed to be 20’s to almost 30 but they all acted 15. Dont waste a credit, seriously.

I hoped for better...

I wanted to like this one more than I did. But the FMC is probably one of the most annoying characters I've read in a long time. She wasn't that bad in book one, but I guess that's because we didn't see much of her. And Dom wasn't any better.

Chloe and Peyton have been best friends since childhood, and Dom is Peyton's brother. Of course, he and Chloe are both harboring long-time feelings that neither has the guts to tell the other. And the non-stop bickering goes on throughout the entire book.

Even the addition of the other characters from book one didn't save this one.

The narration was pretty good, so that is what kept me into it.

Painful

The characters are so immature. So painful. The first book in the series was pretty good. Skip this one.
