About this listen

Jess Damon, Houston's hottest wedding planner (and reformed succubus), is working for the bride from hell - literally. Her mother is the queen of evil, the princess of darkness, Satan herself, and she's getting married. What could possibly go wrong?

Well, for starters, Mommie Dearest thinks Jess is only in the wedding business to hook up with hot groomsmen, not to find true love. If she knew her man-eating daughter had gone soft, there would be hell to pay. Making matters worse, hunky demon hunter Cutter Owens just rolled into town, determined to vanquish the devil once and for all - and he wants Jess to help him do it.

Now, on top of wrangling florists and sweet-talking caterers, Jess must outfox the world's sexiest demon hunter and save her mom from oblivion. But can she do it without revealing her true identity? Or - devil forbid - falling in love?

I liked the story, but not the cliffhangers left at the every end.

It made it seem like another book was to follow.

Cliffhanger

Sucked in immediately. Main character was relatable. Could use more physical steaminess. The author really had you rooting for the protagonist without holding her demon side against her. Would definitely read more if this was a series.

Loved it! Great characters. Narrator was amazing

Entertaining

The story is laced with loads of supernatural phenomenon that isn't well thought out, seems adolescent, and detracts from any enjoyable parts to the story. In addition, it ends on a cliffhanger that is wholly unsatisfying.

supernatural trash

What a waste. This story was so lame. It had potential but first it was written in the first person and would have been better not. Then the story itself was just a bunch of rambling on and on about her mother because she was satan. There was so much nonsense going on it was hard to enjoy. And why this book is listed as a romance is a mystery to me. There was no romance. It was all about the planning of the satan's wedding. Seriously, don't waste your time on this story it was poorly written and extremely juvenile. There is barely a sex scene at the end of the book and for a bunch of demons there is no cussing. It could be a rated G book to be honest.

As for the narration, it was great. I am a huge fan of Amy McFadden and that is the only reason I kept listening.

Luckily, I got this as a free read free listen with my KU subscription, or I would be returning it.

Lame story! Great Narration!
