Great listen

Another great story by Kerrigan Byrne! I do wish it was longer, but I’m glad we got some sort of follow up with Sebastian. The narrators were really good, though I do miss Derrick Perkins as the sole narrator, perhaps he’ll be back for one of the full length novels! Looking forward to the next one!

Short but perfect!

This story is short at only 3:25, but it has everything I needed. It is beautifully written with plenty of page-turning suspense, steamy passion, and a rogue who loses himself to love. Beautifully narrated in duet by Shane East and Stella Hunter, this story kept me engaged from beginning to end, and then I listened again. I don't know why I waited so long, but now I'm going back to listen to the whole series. Veronica is a force to be reckoned with on her own, so it's no surprise that she brings this rogue to his knees. Loved it!

Very good!

I love this series and Kerrigan Byrne’s stories. Although this was a short, it was very good.
Shane East and Stella Hunter are excellent narrators and good as a dual.

Such a pleasure!

A little mystery and a lot of romance. Kerrigan Byrne I kept me on the edge of my seat from the start. And so totally loved the narration. Shane East with Stella Hunter both displayed their soft, sensual tones that made me fall in love with Sebastian and Veronica.

A sample size of the finest Belgian chocolate

Like a sample size of the finest Belgian chocolate, Sebastian Moncrieff's story and Shane East's voice leave us feeling blissful but wanting more. I really would have enjoyed a longer novel about Moncrieff with more of his backstory, more twists and turns to the main story, etc. The novel does not feel incomplete, but in comparison with Byrne's other novels in the series, it is a little bit of a letdown only because of its length. It can also stand on its own for readers who have not read the series. There is no such thing as bad Belgian chocolate, but this is the finest kind. Savor it. Try listening to it at a slower speed just to spend more time with Shane East/Sebastian Moncrieff's seductive voice.

Sultry and satisfying

OH the writing and performance! Such eloquence, I just finished and I want to start over already! Duet narration makes this book, and the level of conflict is just right—nothing too nail biting or distressing. Highly recommend.

Love this author!

This is the last of the Victorian Rebels series by this author. It lost a star with me only because it was so short and I was very excited for this couple’s story. I wish this would have been one of her full length books and not a novella. I didn’t realize when I quickly purchased this that I had wasted a whole credit on a novella. 😥 Shane East and Stella Hunter are perfection, I’ve listened to them both in other books and LOVED this duet. Amazing performers!
