Publisher's summary

I can't hold her. I can't speak to her. I can't even see her. The most important piece of my life is gone. I had everything. I had Winnie. And just like that, my unconditional love vanished.

Picking up the pieces is impossible. There's no easy way to fall out of love. But that's exactly what I have to do.

The Edge of Heaven is the emotional conclusion to the Broken Wings duet. One jilted love story. Four converging paths. A brand new forever.

Contains mature themes.

Missing something...

I was sucked into book one and could not wait to start the conclusion of Winnie's story but it really fell short for me, I don't like to leave bad reviews but I was really missing something here. I love Gia and the writing in this story was incredible but I think maybe we need a book 3? or a short novella with the conclusion and maybe some future? I do not feel like we got a HEA... I want to know what happens with Jasper and Trey... do they get an HEA? Does Winnie ever get better? Does anyone find love?
I am left with an uneasy feeling and tons of questions... its disappointing after spending two credits on this duet.

Aaron and Ava did amazing!! Their performances were outstanding.

well that was disappointing

so I follow Aaron Shedlock on the regular & picked this up just because of him & he voices both Male character POV but that's the only reason I gave a good performance rating but it is a dual narration not a duet performance.... this book sucked! so it starts like a man looking out for a girl & waiting for her to come of age ok I've read plenty like that & usually end with a wonderful HEA. that's not what this ends up being. so she lives in the trailer park with her junkie fam & her stepmom is going to make her strip but gets shot by said step-mom goes to foster for like 3weeks & he's waiting, she's a typical stupid girl who can't wait or deal with dumb rumors at high school so she runs away to guess what strip gets too loaded, he "re-rescues" her & ends up goin to prison. The kid that's totally into also ends up on the outside & she goes back to foster & ends with "I'm happy & going to actually work on myself, even though I'll never get to be with Trey" so it's a young ignorant girl that ruins someone else's life but can only focus on her ruined life. 1 love interest goes to jail & she doesn't want the kid her age; so now I'll work on me. well at least she thanks him in her head
