This set contains all three books in the Elvish Trilogy by S. G. Prince:
Elvish: From debut author S. G. Prince, Elvish is a stunning tale of lies, love, and the choices that forever change us.
Elder: The second installment in the Elvish Trilogy is a heart-wrenching tale of lies, love, and a world on the brink of war.
Ember: The final installment in the Elvish Trilogy is a tale of sacrifice, forgiveness, and the lengths we'll go for those we love.

If it were a movie i would say "It was a 30 minute show crammed in to an hour and a half".
I have a philosophy about genders in general. Women mostly like to be admired from afar. Men like to admire them up close. The hero in this trilogy seems to have what i believe to be the female point of view. Don't misunderstand my intent with that comment. what i mean is he likes to admire from afar (but i should add that he still wants her close by). that is obvious within the first 10 minutes of the listen. An excellent performance but i often wanted to increase the speed just to get to the next action. Listening to how the hero and heroine feel gets old after a while. Especially old when the same feeling are repeatedly expressed using different words. The author is a superb wordsmith just being able to do that but after about the fourth iteration i sorta got it. I didn't need more of the same. Sorry Daniel but that is how i feel. I bet you understand how i feel and i only had to say it twice. ok, i am probably being to harsh. Again. I listened to all three books, back to back.
